Why would he even get invited? You invite cool people to your party not total dicks. Everyone knows this.
Thats the reason he can't find a home in Korea and will fade away due to lack of professional partners. Husky OTOH will be here for a long long time. In fact Husky is bigger than IdrA which you know just drives him insane lol.

Do you know why Day9 is on blip.tv? Becuase he can make some extra money off the ads there, does that make the beloved (on TL.net at least) a bad guy? No, neither does it make Husky.
Both Artosis and Tasteless draw a paycheck by doing GSL, they love the game but they also need to get paid, as does Husky.
I dont know Greg Fields personally but i am pretty sure his ass would be on the first plane home had GSL not offered the biggest cashprize in competitive SC2, he isent there for the culture, and that goes for every foreigner there.
Nothing wrong with making money off something you love and enjoy, but apperrantly only certain members of this community are "allowed" to do so, Sean Plott isent going to cast your tournament unless he gets paid, thats not greed, thats him being smart.
The guy made a 3 minute ish video, no its not suppose to give you the "gay" its suppose to parody the boybands from the late 90's, its suppose to be funny, if you dont find it funny why not just say you did not enjoy the video?
And no i am not even a subscriber of Husky, i dont even have a account on Youtube, i have watched 4 of his videos in total, so dont even go with the "fanboy" argument that holds no water.
And what does this say about the community if someone wants to contribute? You get called a "homo" for it and bashed, even by a progamer who cant see the irony of it all
Comparing day9 who litrally helped guys from copper to 2500+ (me being one of these players) diamond to husky who commentates to entertain people is pretty wrong. Sure husky contributes but day9 is a cornerstone of our community, he just won pc gamer of the year because of his contributions. Its like comparing American football to rugby, they are just two diffrent sports all together. Not saying one is better then the other, but they work in very diffrent fields, day9 is like that guru you always wanted to have as a teacher, and husky is like that friend you always love watching football with.
Well, without Husky i wouldn't have found Day9 and would still be some gold league scrub.
On Topic: I liked that video, but i won't be suprised anymore if Husky outs himself as being bi some day...
Husky's videos aren't funny (which his SCV Love Song just goes to prove), nor are his commentaries useful. So I don't understand this community's loyalty to him, particularly as his newer work becomes increasingly less relevant to SC2. It also seems stupid how quickly people will turn on Idra for having the balls to point out Husky's obvious lack of skill, especially when there is so much talent coming from other commentators. Just sayin'.
얼굴이뜸해먹 says: A Simple life we lead As a drone Working side by side For eternity But if you're there That's alright... (Our base is under attack) (Tadadada~ boom~)
i think the first few minutes of this is all that needs to be said regarding husky staying on task while casting idra.. disgusting. go watch an HD cast with warmup BM- much, much more professional.
I agree really is disgusting.. idra dishing out the bm before the game is even underway.

The community isn't loyal to him. The hell thread are you reading? The mods are predominantly publicly polite, but he gets a lot of shit on this board. I scarcely consider him flawless, greatly prefer Day[J], and his passive-aggressive previous post kind of lost my respect. That said, at least pretend to do your research, as it's abjectly silly to say that this board kowtows to the whims of Husky.
well i think husky is like your friend who dropped out of pre-med school, you can go to him for some lols and a bit of medical info, but thats it, he's makin his money with the little info he knows
day9 is like your surgeon, he's damn good, but money is still a big factor
on the subject of the video... i didnt like it, banelings was catchy and i bough it this just didnt catch me at all, and the goatee makes husky scary
The banelings video was funny but i feel it wouldve been better if the song was shortened. The second song however i didn't like...it was kinda gay...hehe... I would like husky to stick to casting...i find him funny when he casts especially when he starts to speak very fast... ^^
I found the levels of parody in this song quite enjoyable. All boy bands have the "cool guy" with facial hair, made ironic because Husky isn't exactly cool. Then there is the pretty boy who always has his chest showing, but is basically just there to be pretty (hence they don't even mention him, even at the ending speech he is just in the background changing clothes and posing) Then there is the actually talented singer guy at the front. The extremely cliche basic arm movements, the wide shots of them running around with birds.
I especially find it funny that people took a video where people pretend to be SCV's seriously... It wasn't as catchy as banelings in my opinion, however I think the video and song itself for this one is better.

Is that why husky doesent cast anymore tournaments? ZING!
really im sure IdrA could care less about some tounrament hosted by some casual with some non-exist or small prize pool when he competes in esport central korea for 120k+ on a regular basis.
Oh my god, that Seven Things I Hate About Woo was better than any of these mediocre rap parodies flooding youtube nowadays. I never cared for Husky much before I saw that...but oh god that was amazing.
Personally I preferred the banelings song, this is very well done clearly, however I think the more energetic approach of banelings will make it more successful.
Well done for making such a good song though, very good to listen to
I'm wary of saying that I liked Banelings better, since that, by proxy, means I like a Bieber song better than something else.
I honestly couldn't get halfway through the SCV song, though. The pacing was off and Husky's "beard" was waaaay too unsettling. That dude's got talent, but I think he missed the mark on this one.
At first, I thought they brought the unknown third guy in, to pose as a boy group (which would be hard with just two guys.) In the Husky+Kurt explanation the mysterious guy did not contribute much beside laying in a ... strange position on the bed with an open shirt. Is he actually part of Nerd Alert?
Then I felt trolled ... and liked it.

How can a 100% heterosexual guy feel something which makes him cringe when some boys pose with open shirts?
They simulated a boy group with anything which turns a girl on.
Though I don't think this one was fantastic, I think it's way better than Banelings. I don't know, maybe I've seen too many Bieber parodies, but I thought it was pretty terrible.

Thanx idrage, was worth to make a new account. But just sayin', why idra feel he HAVE to point out this ? It's not like husky or anyone were pretending he is skilled, he's just making video ffs. If you want to find stupidity, you should ask yourself why idra is coming to attack people for no reason. Perhaps not stupidity, I'd say lack of maturity at least. (wich is understandable with his background)
And for even more stupidity, you should ask yourself how can people become such fanboys that they would approve him for just randomly insulting people, this is insane. In fact this shows how people don't like using their brain, so insane is the right word. And this is just an example, everytime idra is in delirium and is banned from TL for throwing random insults a horde of people will come to explain he was right. Reading those forum can be very bad for your faith in humanity sometime, poor Darwin.

where someone finds this "disgusting", I mean, wtf. I know people can be biased, but this is not bias, this is lobotomy. This is brainwash. This is scary in fact.
