I attribute Husky's success to his determination and his being here from the get go in SC2, and NOTHING ELSE. His skills or abilities are irrelevant, its the fact that he puts out content and has done so from the start, whether or not he is "doing it for the community" is also irrelevant. Good or bad (his effect on the community), it's a side effect of his determination to gain views and subscribers (in an effort to make more $). I just wish people would stop arguing about whether or not he's good at what he does, because obviously, it doesn't matter.

If husky wasent around there would still be 300k+ people who want to watch SC2 casts, it just so hapens he was able to get that many subs. In addition the majority of his casts are all ladder based. Rarely does he cover any esport event and then sticks the vods on his youtube page. Husky is the halo equiv of the weekly top 10 kills. This doesent bring people to MLG it just gives existing fans something they find entertaining to watch. I would disagree. I know my cousin watches Husky, but rarely watches Day9 Dailies as an hour is a long time to watch. I've been trying to get him to watch the GSL free vod's. (No way he'll watch it live at 2-4am in the morning.) So that is one Husky fan, that would probably not otherwise watch SC2 esports.

you watch it for entertainment not for hardcore analysis, he knows this and stays true to it which is what he did from the start haters gonna hate, its not like he didnt try to be where he is, hes even said the videos he puts out on a regular basis take alot of his time up + iirc he still works so if he wants to do a parody, why shouldnt he?

Complaints about selling out/making money/diversifying are completely unjustifiable. On topic, I thought the video was borderline "glee" at first, but on a few watches I came to appreciate the humour and lyrics of the song. Its a grower.

It's not like husky or anyone were pretending he is skilled, he's just making video ffs. If you want to find stupidity, you should ask yourself why idra is coming to attack people for no reason. Perhaps not stupidity, I'd say lack of maturity at least. (wich is understandable with his background) What you mean with that? if you know something, can you tell about it here?

He makes these garbage parody videos to take advantage of the SC2 fan base's viewer-ship in order to get paid by youtube. He cuts up his videos in 10 minute increments to maximize views (in order to get more money). The SC2 community really doesn't need him, his casts are abysmal as well as his strats, Day9 or Djwheat and others are way better. So everyone is wrong and you are right? .. oh that's where i was going wrong.. you can't speak for Husky's motives any more than the next guy.. why wouldn't you believe he loves the community and loves making money.. why are those things mutually exclusive? This guy has been casting since BW where he was making sweet fuck all so don't juts jump on the troll wagon. He loves sc2, he loves casting and does a lot for the community and omg if he makes money along the way who the fuck cares!? So what!? he is meant to sacrifice all his time for free? Get real kid.. nothing is for free in this world; i doubt his main motivation was $$$ and even if it is; so fuckign what? He is done more for esports than you could ever dream of accomplishing..

What he's saying is the style he does it in, a lot of the content Husky puts out is done in a way to make money, like cutting up his videos into multiple parts, or recasting games that I guess kinda belong to other casters. These are just the things he does, and on the surface it appears that he is doing it for more hits, but what do I know, I am not risking aggravating anyone over this. Anyways I would be careful what you guys say about Husky, some of the mods happen to be fans of his and are not afraid to hand out 7 day bans (cough cough) for assertions that Husky is doing it for the money. PS: Husky's facial hair must be even more horrifying in real life (I mean that in the kindest way possible)
