I'm currently a Zerg player and I hardly play protoss or terran. I love my race, mechanics and all that, but I'm not a fan of the zerg music in SC2. While playing SC2, I find that listening to other music (real world) is annoying to me, so I'd rather listen to the game music.
To be brutally honest, I hate the zerg music. It's dank and slow, while the terran and protoss have upbeat, holy, or just plain good music that I like.
So my question is, is there a way to listen to protoss or terran music while playing zerg, WITHOUT using another software/downloading online?
Zergs has 9 tracks, but most of them are really boring, I've replaced 50% of zerg "tracks" (that are not music, more like ambient) to SC1:BW music. So now ingame as Zerg I hear SC1+SC2 zerg music. A lot fan and nostalgy

But space farmers who listened to Hendrix in their teens and are into call of duty
I use Winamp to play other music when playing. I suggest that you make a playlist with the other races music and disable ingame. Winamp has global hotkeys, so you can start/stop/skip with a press of a few buttons. You could properly find both sc2 and brood war soundtracks with a little googling

I agree winamp is good regardless whether you want to change the sound files.
Some games have their own mp3 players. It would be nice if blizz had implemented something like that.
Edit- BTW I sincerely started to wonder if they can implement a winamp integration. They promote winamp, blizz ads start to show up on winamp banners. Players can listen to whatever they want while playing.
You can use this tutorial to extract all the songs from Starcraft 2.
I think it is possible to use that to replace the files , so make terran music play while playing zerg. Anyway , if is not , you can easily stop the music in game and play T or P or even the main theme in winamp.
