Im not happy what they did there, im a toss player and ANYTHING that is a buff makes me happy, but their fixin something that aint that broken, why reduce cost of observer if people will obviously go for hallucination for scouting, is way for effective - economic that the damn obverser , im pretty sure toss will now have a new phoenix opening vs Z, having observer reduced in price doesnt fix the fact that you have to get robo just for that even if you not making any robo bay unit.

here are some thing's they shoud change/add IMO:
-leave fungal as it was, maybe nerf somethng else about it but now they are useless prtty much only good for MM-(last M is save now) -bane -blinkers.

-put a limit on scv repair's in each building, unit... now with 5 sec less to make bunker we all now how T will open vs Z

-i got to say phoenix buff i love it, finally we can do something vs does mass mutas much more easly with a combo 2 SG making phoenix and having a few hallucinated phoenix to distract =D.. ( this buff will be #1 QQ reason soon)

-nothng done to terran even tho they aint that great late game.

-the thing that had me most impressed and pissed is that blizz didn't do NOTHNG to protoss early game... thx for obvs buff and phoenix ,BUT what about early game? zealot are useless to marauder (concusion +stim) unless they get charge which is more expensive than both marauder upgrade together and even with charge marauder can kite(issnt zealot the rauder ahrd counter??).
Stalker didnt got fix its toss "only" ground unit that can AA( i know sentry can att air but really they are USELESS at AA dmg) and they suck, their attack speed is too slow, their damage is low and still their cost (150/50) is high compared to roach who deal more dmg than them and scale better in dmg upgrades.

-The sentry , with no early game buff to toss we still relly on PERFECT FF to stop rushes or we dead (talking mainly about 7rr) its not impossible to stop but its damn hard since roahc now pwn stalekrs only some FF on ramp to split can safe you.

-Why no obverser make at nexus after any high tech building is done? (stargate,robo twilight council)

So to end this wall of test lol i know im not a pro, but im not a nooob either many of you will prob flame me for not saying this patch is great and that things I mentioned its because im bad and they aint broke, BUT other will agree and I know while time passes in the PTR maybe some of this things will change and we will get a more balanced game.

becouse terrans have unit called Banshee. it can fly, it can cloak, it 2 shots workers, to cover your base and expansion + to move out u need 3 observers + the cost of robo which is 400 Gas. get it now?

I think they have a hidden agenda with the makro button stuff. Blizzard wants us to destroy our keyboard by spamming em to hard so we have to get a new one (Read: Razor starcraft keyboard)

God I hate this patch.
- Zerg getting nerfed in the dumbest way.
- Ramps now have their bottom mouth changed to require more buildings to wall because of toss proxy cannons (but hurts Terran a lot. They cannot wall with 2 structures to prevent scouting now)
- SCV repairing will no longer be as effective, simply because people could not be bothered to control their units or magic box around repairing units. SCV crowding turrets vs mutas, PFs vs lings, thors vs zealots, bunkers vs stalkers are all less effective.
- Chatrooms are in, but they split you off into instances, such as General 1,2,3 with no player choice as to which instance you join. Chat is also crippled with an over severe anti-spam functionality.
- Bunkers got reduced build time, but in reality, it is just a return to what they USED to be anyway.
- Phoenixes openers vs zerg are going to be brutal.

Terran macro late game has not been improved. Still most cost effective to spam bio (low tier units) vs Protoss high tier. Terran harass windows vs zerg are still over nerfed from consecutive nerf patches, and TvT is still going to cascade into inevitable viking/siege/bio compositions when it gets into midgame. Cool. =_=

God I keep hoping that Blizzard patches will make things better, but it just keeps getting worse. At least PROPER hotkeys were put in now, thank god. Only took them... 12 years?

I've also never held down the hotkey to spawn multiple units, even spawning a dozen pairs of lings doesn't take that long, think of how fast you can mash a single key, my finger can probably crank out 20 lings in a couple seconds, you get used to it I guess.

Meh, honestly a lackluster patch. Only about 4-5 balance changes and the rest is fixes that should have been in the game from the start.

What i miss the most is a revamp of the epic boring "Find Match" button which I've swore to never touch again since the ladder has such a chore feeling about it.

I agree with you, this is mostly quoted for the post you quoted. A scan does not cost you 240 minerals ( I always heard it was 270 btw), because if you can you do not lose those minerals you just do not harvest them as quickly. Those minerals are still able to be mined.

I don't feel strongly about any of the protoss changes. I think the buildtime reduction on Pheonix is going to make them considerably stronger in PvZ, but perhaps that will make that matchup a little more interesting than just all in timing attacks. The change to the threat on SCVs was obviously required and I'm super happy about that but then the Fungal change really makes me cry. I depend on Fungal so much in every matchup, whether its snaring mutas, voidrays or medivacs. Without it I really can't imagine how I am going to play those matchups, especially ZvZ. I hope they don't go ahead with that particular change.

The new map looks awful too. Its really about time they either hire some mapmakers that know what they are doing or start reaching out to the community for new ladder maps because having a pool of 3 or 4 "decent maps" total is really not good enough at all.

After all the 'learn to play' arguments I've heard from zerg, it's time for zerg to give this patch a chance.

And it's not even a real patch, its a friggin test. Protoss didn't get a 'test' patch when zealot build time got nerfed, or void rays got nerfed, or mothership got nerfed, or.. well everything else that protoss got nerfed for.

My point is, maybe some zerg need to eat their own words from past balance patches, suck it up and just PLAY. The meta-game is going to change, with or without you. It's up to you whether you keep up with it or not now. (And this one's not even a real meta-game, but a POSSIBLE one -_- )

And as far as I've been observing, it's not like phoenixes haven't been used more often now, so this patch is just the right touch in the right direction (phoenixes didn't actually get buffed in any direct way at all, attack, armour, speed, shields, it's still all the same...)
