I could just practice a LOT of build orders in solitaire, but this way I can practice AND play and the same time. Much better. As for remapped keys, it's just unbelievable that Blizzard isn't allowing this on it's own. There's nothing inherently wrong in remapping to your likings. You can always check out YABOT (Yet Another Build Order Tester). It's a custom map on battle.net and can display BOs up on the upper left corner and will check off the steps you completed as you play.

Can you map stuff to mouse button 4 and 5? With that I mean 'Windows mouse button 4" and 5. Right now RUK only does Keyboard remapping. The only thing that holds me back from doing the mouse mapping is the legitimacy issue. Site is down? Oops, was the crowd of sc2 players too big for my server to handle? Anyway, it's up and running when I checked few seconds ago. Another concern: what if I'm doing 2v2 and I use the mic to talk with my friend? Is this application going to spam me with possibile BO/timers interpretations of what I'm saying to my friend? If it's so, it would be nice to have an option to activate its speech recognition feature just when I'm keeping a specific button pressed.. a sort of Push-to-talk-to-the-application. I'm also trying to come up with a way to address this issue. I can either, like you said, add a press-to-talk key or use a special voice command to activate/deactivate the build order overlay. Still experimenting with this =) that being said: for me everyone not using this is the real winner of the match. especially if the player beats someone that uses overlayed build orders I think most people will use the overlay to *practice* different build orders. Not sure if I gave any false impression that having the overlay = having an advantage in a ladder match. I could just practice a LOT of build orders in solitaire, but this way I can practice AND play and the same time. Much better. Same here =) The version on the right is some kind of 3'rd party "magnifier" tool - but it was laggy, flashing and so on. However the idea is sound. Sweet hehe. From what I've read around, .NET uses by default, for the grammar, the installed OS's language. Unfortunately for me, italian speech recognition is not existent for the italian language. You should manually set it up to english by code; this should hopefully fix the problem. I will address this ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenient; I should've thought about it before. tested and works like advertised. can be a bit slow to start up. files manager pretty basic, would be nice to load games directly from there. build order and reminder are pretty niche and probably wont get much use, but neat. Suggest you just use "clear build". Suggestions taken. And thanks for the build order, I will include more build orders in the next release.

I didn't spend all the effort just to try to key log people. Thanks for the good words though. =D Computer, Build more rax. Computer, Train more marines. Computer, More SCV NOW! Computer, Tea, Earl Grey, Hot. Even if my program can do that, you would get a real shitty APM that way =/ Is there any chance it could be somehow ported to work with Macs? I was looking forward to help tightening up my build orders with some reminders while practicing. I'm afraid that my skills in cocoa is not that great. I have made Mac desktop and mobile apps before, however keyboard hook and speech recognition in Mac OS are some of the things I'm not familiar with. I will though take a look into this.

If you have .Net Framework 4.0, the program should at least run. If you are having trouble with the reply manager, you may need to install the Windows SDK. Anyhow, instructions on getting those things are on the download page: http://www.screborn.com/ruk/ On November 10 2010 13:29 styl3s wrote: Well it isn't a hack/bot/cheat and is it really modifying the experience? that is the million dollar question, although i think if it isn't legal it should, it's no different then having post-it notes on your monitor or beside you with build orders, this just makes it easier. if anything blizzard should encourage something like this for new players and players that aren't that good. Yup that's one of the reason I made this - helping out new and casual players. The other reason is to help out skilled players who spend a lot of time practicing different build orders or coming out with new builds.

Its used to help people learn to play. I dont think you'll see it in tournaments or anywhere theres money on the line. Its just to remind you of what you are trying to do. And the key remapping, bliz said they were adding that in a future patch anyway. Its not like this is going to allow a scrub to hang with the pros. Its just a practice tool that can be used in real game scenarios. I'm probably not going to use it, but its a great idea to help people practice execution. Edit: oh and why would you want it on android? Going to look down at your phone instead of the screen sc2 is already on? Btw I already have a bo app on my droid and it doesn't have anything good. Your better off writing your own in a notepad.
