Ok im sorry but i cant remember this ever being posted before, They gave dancing animation to units, i dont know if theirs any way to make them go ingame but this is what u can do in the editor

You can do it by typing /dance while in-game with desired units selected, but it doesn't work with every unit.

Yea, Many units can dance in the game. I've seen some pro matches where some pros actually dance while fighting. One time a pro did it when he basically had already won the game and another when he scouted a terran base with zerglings. He just stopped- did a backflip- and ran away. Forgot the name of the pro, but it was pretty funny.

ALSO, EDIT: You can type /dance or /cheer

Both have different outcomes if you do it.

Some of them have mutliple dances or cheers it seems, do you just get random dances/cheers randomly, or is there more than 2 commands?

I'm usually to busy trying not to suck to dance my units except for the occasional BM zealot dancing.

Fav are zergling and thor :D. I knew terran rines and marauders could dance but this is awesome :D and is it me or is the marauder doin the chicken dance...

yea some units either have 2 cheers or 2 dances. some units only have 1 or whatever. Its not all equal.

IIRC, Zerglings, Hydras Ultras, for Zerg, Zealots and Templar for Toss, and Marines, Marauders and Thors are all the units who can /dance and /cheer.

haha I will try to dance more, omg I saw a highlight video of that match and man there was so much dancing! It was like,
"haha sucker ima win, DANCE TIME! "
and quickly followed by,
"oh SHIT may be I shouldn't have danced, I needed those 2 seconds to attack! "
and repeat, back and forth xD

Omg didn't know Ultras could dance. I need to try this in ladder matches! haha

I'm glad i found this as I was curious which units could dance so I could start some rhythmic BM....Things I would be extremely entertained by in future GSL TL:
1) Dancing to get so out of hand that teams practice their ceremonies more than playing (think BASEketball opening scene.
2) More ceremonies in general...I want myself some firebathero type displays.

and as side note...the ONLY thing that could have made those finals more epic as if after the all the dancing there was a bench clearing brawl.

dancing was found out first week of beta. nothing new. It's BM to do in-game and the fact that it was done in that game by both players is ridiculous. why was this thread bumped. Imo it's stupid that the command is allowed in ladder games.
