Watching MLG Raleigh and and loling at all the "omg zerg can now FE without fear" crap. Stfu, reapers still exist in this game.
Watching the streams just make all your QQ seem funnier.

As to you second part. I'll bet anyone and all comers $10 a tourney with 4:1 odds (there is only 3 races) protoss will not win any major tourney again.

I'll take you up on this bet.

Zergs are really stronger. I use to win 60-70%, now it is 40-50.
I am switching to civilization 5 for now until any terran can come up with a better tactics.

I want to say I'm so glad that we are weeding out abuser terrans from this game but I won't. Since you post on TL.net you know what fair game is. Since you also don't play zerg you'll know there is more to this game than build reaper right click win.

The supply depot necessity nerf is going over the line. Zergs are able to fast expand and there's nothing I can do to punish them. If I'm not able to get some advantage in the early game, then the zerg can easily macro into victory. For what asinine reason did Blizzard place this nerf. I feel like playing random now because I'm bouncing around races too much and Blizzard doesn't know what they're doing.

Just the few games we saw today at MLG basically proved you, and everyone else who bitched about this without testing it, wrong.

Reapers are still in game. FE is still very very susceptible to 1rax reaper. Plenty of zergs still lost to terran. 6 pool can be stopped the exact same as before (you weren't holding off a 6pool with a single marine and no wall). There is no free pass for zerg. Terran still has every tool available to slaughter them. Terran is fine. Zerg is more balanced than it was before.

Less QQ more playing.

Oh, so they're balancing the game around 4v4 now or something?
Protoss can now not forge expand, feedback anything or build void rays ever?
Since when was feedback vs thors OP?
Now the only use the void ray had, mid-game harass vs terran, provided they have no anti air at all, is gone?

K Love, Feedback vs Thors was always OP because there was literally never a way of cancelling out the damage as first it meant you had to get the upgrade which was a waste of minerals, you couldn't use it on your own stuff and you didn't get chance to use it on the enemy before getting feedbacked.

As a Protoss user I'm mostly happy with the patch...

...but for the void ray nerf, I'm glad to see bronze terrans are now in charge of the balance in SC2.

The Thor buff makes sense in a way, and might change PvT from the infantry fest it turned into.

A bit sad that they didn't do anything for early timing pushes PvT, I think a good change would be to make Terran infantry upgrades a bit slower and more expensive, it would solve a lot of problems in the matchup.

Hydras were a tier 1 unit with 4 range (5 with upgrade) in BW and Protoss FE'd fine.

A) I'm fairly sure hydra range is 6 with the upgrade, just like marines and dragoons. fairly sure gols outrange no range hydras and thats why they do so well early, while range hydras outrange gols and become cost-effective later.
B) hydras did 10 damage and had 80 hp. Even then a hydra bust was EXTREMELY effective if the toss didnt drop about 5 extra cannons after scouting it. roaches have 145 hp instead of 80. also zlots were a very good counter to hydras in low numbers(zlots tank~25 hydra shots), so zlot-cannon worked very well vs hydras. Roaches on the other hand hard counter zlots, even without speed.

I am pretty sure brood war was:
Marine, Hydra: 4 range 5 upgraded
Goon: 4 range 6 upgraded
Goliath: 6 range

So now that you aren't winning 60-70% your saying zergs imba now? Wow irony at its best good to see the game balancing out though making players like you quit :D

Nope.

Marine was 4+1+1(Bunker)
Hydralisk was 4+1
Dragoon was 4+2
Goliath was 5/5+3

Also, in Patch 1.04 Dragoon range was increased to its current state from 4+1.... and I'm pretty sure this is why they're such retards.... they do seem to try to engage at about range 5 after all...

huh, my bad on that point. still roaches are better at breaking cannons than hydras were.
man i underestimated how good hydras were vs toss to think they can slaughter goons even with a range deficit =.=;;

seems to me like blizzard might as well remove reapers from the game

and what is up with the supply depot for barracks, that makes no sense, they never stopped 8 rax in brood war, why the hell would they now

Anyone complaining about the patch saying zergs are op better man the fuck up, sure the game changed overnight but all zerg got was 1 range on the unit called roach to anyone opening standard this patch does nothing against non cheese terran openings and helps ease out the process of defending all this bullshit that terran throws at you. Makes zergs more greedy, and thus you can still punish the greedy zergs, just throwing the idea out there.

PROXY YER GOD DAMN RAX.

Check out the new quote, y0. Glad for the zerg buffs. ZvT is awesome to watch now! Really nice macro games, no more gimmicky shit. Entertainment!

So MLG Started...

ONE zerg player still alive on winner bracket (need to call his name?)
ONE zerg on loser bracket, LiquidRet (maybe a +1, not sure what happend between Pain.User and UNC-oRe.saMa who seems tied 1-1).

Lots of terran n protoss...

Yes i can see now what so manny people claim here... Zerg is clearly imba, protoss n terran got no fighting chance

Goons don't do good against Hydras I THINK because Goons did reduced damage to them or something.

People were way overestimating the changes.

The Terran changes only removed the free cheese wins, almost no effect on their overall game. The Medivac change was miniscule, on the order of 5%.

Roach change while good is situational, doesn't make a big difference in large battles.

The Void Ray change has by far the biggest ramifications. While removing the occasional cheese win it puts a huge dent in late game air power for Protoss. The Void Ray did approximately 50% more damage vs armored before the nerf.
