I have no problem with reapers being nerfed to being worthless. Not sure if supply depot requirement is the way to do it, but whatever. I'll see how it plays out.

The reason the voidray nerf is stupid, is because voids are SUPPOSE to be the unit that takes out things like BCs... Honestly, who cares about voids being the counter to corruptors or vikings?? Voids are there to take out the big units, thats why charge was put in the game in the first place. Now, voids are just another generic crappy unit that is NOWHERE near worth 250min/150gas..

Congrats blizz, you essentially made the SC2 Scout.

You are false right here my man. The only thing you have to do to "tech switch" from mutas to corruptors is by stop making mutas and start making corruptors, which is fairly instantaneous since you get both mutas and corruptors from the spire. Adding a few corruptors (maybe more depending how many pheonix's they have) to a muta army will counter mass phoenix's easily.

Anyways I do like the changes by taking the energy out from the Thors and Corruptors. Don't think units like that (especially the Thor) be instantly killed. Most of my other comments about the original news on this patch is on another thread so I won't repeat myself here. Not sure what to think about the VR nerf, mostly because that was for team games and not really for 1v1's. But if it helps the team games...sure why not.

Yeah, Boxer is a reputable legendary player so Blizz shouldn't nerf T because he said Cool won GSL.

It might be me but I've pretty much never seen void rays as an answer to BCs, it's either blink stalkers or HTs. They didn't fulfill that role pre-patch, and really won't fulfill it post-patch.
Kind of wondering what role they will fill now, odd change.

STOP THE PRESSES - I just realized that Blizzard is a huge fan of TLO. They baracks before depot because he lost to cheese,and then they make the Thor have no NRG. Listen to him on the podcast, he had taken to EMPing his own Thors. Blizzard knew that was his two weaknesses, by remedying them he is certain to take the GSL.

I kinda like the patch, but really.. Hydralisks need to be adressed.

Maybe they should just remove hydralisks from the game, and let roaches attack air.. rofl..

Increasing the roach range is almost mocking how bad the hydralisk is.

I also do like the building health increases, which will help againist bio drops.

all in all, decent patch, but it doesn't adress much.

I think this is a solid patch. My only issue is they went FULL THROATED with the reaper nerf in one go. I would've preferred either the depot-first or fac-before-upgrade nerf, one at a time, to try and cut into super-early Reaper cheese. My worry is that the unit sees so little late game play that if you cut off it's early game effectiveness too much it will become an unused unit entirely (which really isn't good for the game).
