Going back to the original argument, because Norway and other European states are not in the EU they should just let it go, but the fact remains that the EU have more member states than non-member states in Europe. So the EU can represent Europe to a reasonable degree. This is because the states making up the EU are in Europe. The states making up the USA, are not in Canada. They do not represent Canada in any way shape or form.
