The trouble is, 'North America' doesnt have a political grouping and flag. It's the United States of America (USA) and Canada. Like someone pointed out too Blizzard includes Mexico in the NA server. There is no single flag all these countries unify under as far as I know?

That is not correct. The EU flag is supposed to represent all the peoples of Europe, regardless of whether or not they are part of the Euorpean Union.

Anyhow I didnt say Canadians should be just content with USA flag as I know most will prefer vanilla instead of this. I`m just stating that EU to Europe is as America is to NA not what America is to Canada. If you dont get it why what you said is illogical I cant help you.

FYI, there are no "states" that make up the US. The US is a single state, at least, for the definition of "state" that the EU uses for members and non-members (i.e. a sovereign entity). That the American "states" are called states is an anachronism from the 18th century, when the US states actually were sovereign under the Articles of Confederation (where the centralized government was very weak, much weaker than the EU).
Regardless, your comparison was inaccurate and Jakalo's was correct. In terms of population, EU member states make up 68% of all of Europe. The US makes up 68% of North America minus Central America (which is assigned to Latin America for Battle.net, I think). The question is, if it's proper for the EU flag to represent all of Europe, shouldn't it likewise be proper for the US flag to represent all of North America? Of course, this simple exercise doesn't factor in feelings of nationalism (Canadians hate being associated with the US for some reason, even though the cultures are nearly identical, but I'm pretty sure the Swiss don't mind being associated with the EU.) And the argument that the EU flag precedes the EU and represents all of Europe (it's also used by the Council of Europe) is well-taken and makes the argument moot.

Yup, that's one of the defining factors of being Canadian - is we must tell everyone we are not American (even though most of our mainstream media/entertainment comes from south of the border).
Now sure, North America does include the word "America" but so does South America, in either case the only "Americans" are from the USA

The population of Canada is less than the population of the state of New York. 87% of Canada's population exists within 100 miles of the US border. It could be said that Canada is a suburb of the US in the same way that Jamaica is.
Jamaica doesn't get its own flag icon...
I see they made a canada Icon for you guys, and that's cool. But the whining was seriously a little silly when you consider the stage of the NA server.

Your logic is completely flawed. What percent/population of Jamaica plays SC2? The comparison is pointless as they are on completely different scales. I, like the vast majority of Canadians (except Albertans, who practically count as Americans) do not like to be associated with the United States.

After some testing I noticed that windows 7 has a tendency to make the icons uglier. I tried the EU-icon and it looked really bad. Then I tried the original icon from the pack and it was also fucked up.
The screenshot says it all. Above the shortcut with the ugly icon, Below the icon itself (as it should be).
Does anyone know more about this seemingly bugged functionality in windows 7?
EDIT: Fixed it. Apparently I downsized all icons on the desktop by accident. By pressing CTRL+scrollwheel you can change the icon size. A bit larger and the icon looks nice!
