+ Show Spoiler + every time zerg makes small mistakes its "oh its not imbalanced look he placed his spawning pool 1 square to the left of optimal" and every time terran does what is an equivalent of massing lings vs hellions its "oh look zerg won match up is balanced now"
I actually would bet that if Cool played himself as T on kulas ravine he'd do better then top.(just watch some of his reps playing as T on sc2rep.com)

I remember Blizzard saying early on Terran and Protoss are the main concerns then Zerg last. And years ago someone from there dev said if Protoss ever don't win against Zerg the game is broken.
Some half hearted Zerg balance changes are bound to be coming after GSL, probably some light stat changes.
Who ever got the infestor changed so much in beta probably isn't being listened to after that buff change failed miserably which is kinda unfortunate cos at least they tried to mix things up.
I think with cheaper building gas costs and faster lair upgrade times & lair buildings build times things would feel much better for zerg in giving some game flow control to the zerg player.
Also cheaper or stronger or faster building spine crawlers would greatly help for defending expos/naturals. Also maybe AoE or more range on Spore Crawlers would be a fun change rather then getting 4+ spores and still not being able to cover a main effectively.
Being able to pick up crawlers in ovies or have them move in nydus would be hella fun time too.

I agree. His play was way too nr20min k, which totally shifted the game to Cool's favor. Anything else really would have worked against him (any timing push, thor/tank drop etc).
Though of course, Cool played very well and I'll be rooting for him and Check

After he won by doing nothing by ultralisks and a-moving them I think he might consider sticking to zerg.

Lets not loose the focus here. One best of three doesn't mean anything.
This topic is about general balance not how Cool won vs a terran that did ten billion mistakes or something else.
So lets not forget that it doesn't make the game more balanced even if Idra manages to win another ten tournaments, which isn't gonna happen obviously..

zerg need a heavy change in their style, maybe hydralisk in t1 or overlord and burrow in t1
cmon blizzard!! u have so many good players to put in ur testing seasons!! ask the pros!
