I'm not trying to call you out, just curious, as I'd never really thought of it that way and would be interested if Blizzard actually designed, even just vaguely, with that intentionally in mind. Terrans have guns/gunpowder which includes bombs/missiles/explosions. That's kind common sense. There's nothing in particular that says Zerg ISN'T, per se. That's just the way it kind of is.

With the current macro mechanics maybe. But (and this is a key point) that all depends on how well the units scale in numbers. Dragoons were powerful but did not scale as well in numbers as say, hydra. Lings were powerful in small numbers but did not scale well to large numbers.

People expect blizzard to balance out a massive online game within a few months, when new strategies are showing up every day. It's a really hard thing to do, and it takes time. But seriously, name a game that was balanced right from the beginning. Any online game. I will, if you name me a game that the parent company said that they'll support the e-sport community from the get-go.

Blizzard just had zerg completely wrong since the start of SC2. Right now blizzard thinks that zerg is supposed to be "like bugs that crawl under your skin", the designers did a good job of capturing this, but the problem is the original quote was wrong. Zerg is supposed to be steroid injected hyper aggressive mutated animals that makes you shit your pants.

You seem to be contradicting yourself here. hint: nearly every terran or protoss player uses some kind of "early, quasi-all-in rush" against zerg, especially if you early lair

I mean, you've got two choices: switch and dominate, since the game is apparently so imbalanced, leading to action from Blizzard; stay Zerg and occasionally eke out some results, skewing statistics by being 'so much better' or having 'so much more practice' or whatever. People just like talking the talk, I guess. I genuinely want them to switch races, if only to get balance issues smoothed out faster, but they'd rather have 'self-respect' lol

I know T is supposed to be good in small numbers and zerg is supposed to be weaker but the balance isn't there. Just because they have the racial trait doesn't mean its in the correct balance atm, which it obv isn't.

I enjoy zerg mechanics more than the other races. Not everything is about winning. Also, it is far more rewarding when you do get a win as zerg as you feel that you have genuinely outplayed your opponent.
