WUT? Lets look at Terran splash units;
Planetary Fortress Hellions Siege Tanks Thors Raven
Now Zerg;
Ultralisks Banelings Mutalisks
Terran wins 5 to 3...but if Zerg had Lurkers AND Scourge...it would be an even draw...Hmm...

It's very likely he'd switch to Protoss. Protoss doesn't make sense since they have a even less chance against Terran. During GSL round 32 the most played MU was Terran vs Protoss and only 3 tosses made it. Terran had 90%+ win rate. If you want to switch race to get it easier to win then switch to Terran. Yet the general consensus in Korea is that Protoss is the strongest race, according to Tasteless and Artosis. And Terran STILL has 90%+ winrate against Protoss. Wtf are you talking about --
EDIT: Oh GSL - barely any of the Ps that lost were favored to win as far as Im aware -_- Genius was, clearly, but its his own fucking fault for not scouting TWICE.

You mean like how having tanks/thors/missileturret/pf/hellion splash doesn't work now?

But more importantly, lurkers at anything other than tier three, which wouldn't help anything, would likely cause some craziness due to the speed in which drones can be produced compared to Brood War. I'm not saying it would break the game, but it would change it so drastically as to likely invalidate almost any tournaments going on at the time, and drastically change a number of things.
EDIT: Not that it would happen of course. Blizzard isn't adding any more new units.

Scourge don't splash iirc, and if you are adding Ravens add Infesters since Fungal growth is kinda the same, ish...thing.

They do if you're Jaedong!
J/K
I am assuming that Blizzard would basically make Scourge air Banelings...

If I make Ravens I get missiles...
I'm glad Ravens are so under utilised...I think getting your ball of units missiled is something that few have witnessed...lol

Their mentality is that in lore, it makes sense. Plush the Thor's splash is pretty avoidable.
Damn those blue flamed hellions ._. And whatever happened to "The Swarm"

And according to lore, zerg has a unit called the lurker that morphs from a hydralisk. Yet somehow they seem to overlook that part of the lore. And you make it seem like drastic change would be a bad thing for zerg at this point.

The game is so new, so fragile, and it would wreck the esports scene, potentially hurting it irrevocably. And there are the gameplay mechanics to consider.

Lore? Really? I don't think so...
Also Hydra's should be Tier 1.5 or something...this would allow Lurkers to be Tier 2 or 2.5...rather then a T3 like Blizzard would have us believe was their rightful place.

Do you realize how expensive it is to spam nydus?
TheWind should not have been nearly as successful with his nydus as he was in the game on LT in GSL. Most amateur protoss catch nydus worms before they finish.

I enjoy playing the race at 1650+ and dont give a fuck what anyone says about the race because it is not weak. Take your shitty mechanics and let the professionals be professionals, and yourself be the casual you are. Stop making excuses for your lack of skill. 1650+? Who are you again? He's the guy that thinks he's better than Cool, Zenio, Check, IdrA and Dimaga. Oh, and that the game is imbalanced, in Zerg's favor. I think he's delusional.

Holy CHECK! Blizzard's slow idiotic balance isn't gonna work on a game like SC2. They can't even make maps symmetrical how can they balance a race? It's extremely obvious Terran is OP and Zerg needs help yet instead of making real changes they decrease BC ground attack by 2! The Tank in SC2 was severely OP versus non-armored units (twice the damage with no overkill?). They leave marauders and drops untouched and have no real buff to zerg.
Every Terran unit is good in small numbers thats why they can do so much. Zerg units aren't. Hopefully this will financially startle Blizzard when their E-wallet starts hurting since SC2 looks like an imba T fest so they are forced to balance rather than make small incremental changes to huge problems. If Korean pros who are supposed to be calm and well mannered are "raging" due to imbalance it really shows there is a problem. I feel like I am playing WoW again with how shitty the balance changes are and how painfully slow they come without addressing the real issues.
I really want SC2 to succeed but Blizzard NEEDS to get moving (look at the Ultra bug do they not test anything?). I mean think of how SC2 is perceived in Korea. If the game looks like a joke then its gonna hurt E-sports. We have a corporate bureaucracy of molasses dealing with an extremely dynamic, changing, and intricate system that is RTS.

Mythical, can you point me to official sources that cite Terran lore being AOE attacks and Zerg lore being single target attacks? I'm not trying to call you out, just curious, as I'd never really thought of it that way and would be interested if Blizzard actually designed, even just vaguely, with that intentionally in mind.

Cool is wiping the floor with all of these GSL guys, but I can see Tester and Clide destroying him in practice because there's only about 4 or 5 in GSL equal in skill to Cool, and they're two of them.
