Check just lost 2-0 to Ensnare in the Blizzcon qualifiers, he lost to Hyperdub a few weeks ago in a GOM tournament, he's lost to Cool everytime I've seen them play, he has many losses to Maka and he's said he finds Protoss even more difficult than Terran, which doesn't bode well if he has to play Tester, Inca and co. I'd make him the underdog against at least half the people left in the tournament, including his next opponent, Rainbow.

To be honest, I think there's a good chance both Zergs will go out in the round of 16. They're both playing strong Terrans (TOP beat Cool a few weeks ago in the same tournament Check lost to Hypredub) and with only 2 map vetos each and at least 4 horrendously bad maps for ZvT they'll most likely be playing something like Delta Quadrant, LT or Steppes to stay in the competition, which no Zerg wants.

game 1 ro64 he would've lost against maka, top or ensnare if they had been in a comparable position after all these amazing (or horrible...depending on the way you look at it) drops;
game 3 ro32, I've no idea how he lived, but he was at the brink of getting kicked out;

nevertheless the most shocking thing for me was in fact game 2 ro32, which hasn't been discussed that much surprisingly; but in this match he simply got outplayed quite hard by his supposedly worse protoss-opponent; I would have never believed that tester could drop a PvP straight up, that didn't consist of cheese; tester constantly lost against thestc and despite him having one of the best PvT matchups, I still have my doubts that he is able to win against all (!) the great terran-players he will have to go through

People aren't giving credit to his opponents - in tester's first match on scrap station the terran played SO abusively. He was literally being ridiculous with the use of drops/viking range in the big airspace in the middle of the map. Just because he lost dropships and made mistakes doesn't mean he wasn't playing excellently. And I haven't seen the ro32 series properly, but again, his opponent wasn't exactly giving him an easy ride from what I can tell.
