Write that shit down, but don't threaten extremes. People who care about there ladder do so because they see it as a competition. Removing losses is like giveing every kid an A because you dont want to discourage people. People in bronze through diamond may be proud of the W/L ratio and removing losses takes something that they were proud of away from them. Also; Blizzard can see numbers on how many people are laddering. If people aren't laddering then they aren't likly to buy HotS or LotV which means blizzard loses money. By stopping laddering you can send a message to blizzard that if they dont change something then they will lose money which is all blizz really cares about (not saying this is a bad thing). Removing losses isn't something I approve, but everything claiming they're going to stop laddering is ridiculous. I wish you could AT LEAST see your own losses. Anyways, if people view ladder as competition then fucking compete. Don't worry about a win/loss, and like I said if people are really concerned about what their overall record is, or win %, get a notebook or google spreadsheet and keep track. @Clicker: You seem very sure that it does not change anything ? How about viewing other players stats.. What this did was make people post on level 1 alts just so they dont get humiliated by other people online and it created a massive jerkfest of who has the longest e penis on the forums. Online gaming communities in general are a cesspool of people using the said game to put others down, we see it everywhere, on a daily basis. There is nothing Blizzard can do about this, not showing losses of sub Masters players at least helps that problem somewhat, it dosent fix it, but somewhat dampens it. Blizzards line of thinking is Fact 1: Nobody will quit the game over their losses not showing Fact 2: Some will quit if the community makes fun of their win/loss record I dont mind my losses showing personally but i get why they are doing it

Top of the group; have to win 3 games to win. Bottom of the group; have to win 6 games to win (or 7 don't remember).

Or you could just download SC2Gears and let that keep track for you, I know exactly how many wins and losses i have this season, and exactly what winrate I have in all match-ups. If people are really that serious about the game that their winrate matters then they would probably already have sc2gears as its an awesome peice of kit for analysing games and which build orders you have the most success with.

None the less I'm really looking forward to the next SOTG as the MLG competition has been(theoretically at least ![]() Also it would be awesome if you could get someone from dignitas to come on the show because of the teams ridiculous run through the tournament. And please no one from MLG (excluding day9 and JP ofc :D) with more excuses and blaming someone else for their screw-ups.

Link to MLG rules, scroll down to 'GAMEPLAY', and read rules #3, #6, and #15. + Show Spoiler + 3. Players may not chat in-game unless they are engaging in pre-game sportsmanship or surrendering the Game. 6. Breaking any of Gameplay Rules #2-5 will result in a Forfeit of the Game 15. Players who quit out of a Game before it has ended, without Referee’s permission, will Forfeit the Game. If they're going to be serious about enforcing these, then Huk forfeited game 3 by breaking rule #3 before Idra forfeited game 3 by breaking rule #15.

HuK has zero problem with JP Perhaps they've resolved their differences, but I recall there was a beta tournament casted by JP, which Huk participated in and Huk was under the impression he hadn't agreed to have his games streamed live and they had an argument about it and Huk said he would play but never talk to JP again following that. It's entirely possible even this story is false. Huk definitely was against live casting of tournaments and a big baby about the issue.

It wasn't a beta tournament, it was a fun showmatch with nothing on the line vs machine for Giantbomb.com's TNT, where they play games with the community and had them play a Bo3 as a special. IDK if HuK was really pissed about it but those games were streamed live.
