It wouldn't really be a draw. Go create some carebear SC2 content and come back and let us know how it went. You're contributing nothing but tears at the moment. It's obvious you don't like the SotG content and hosts, so why are you still here bitching and moaning.

You're wrong, got destroyed in the argument, and are now acting like a child. It's for the best you just stop posting and embarrassing yourself, honestly.

You're so close and yet still missing the point. It's the difference between short term exploitation and long term building. "I'm so looking forward to MLG to see him rage and BM! What? He won't be there? Oh well, screw that."
edit: My Dad says hi and wants you to check out this link
He also thinks you should go do some research on tennis and what happened to it after McEnroe and Andree Agassi were done.
...What are you arguing? Because it sounds to me like you're just backing up what I've already said. Tiger returns and golf popularity goes up. McEnroe and Agassi leave and tennis popularity goes down. Yes I agree, more people watch sports for the players than the actual game. Hence why SC2 with interesting players whether they're famous for ridiculous play or ridiculous drama is always good for the popularity of the game. That's my point, so what's yours?
I get it the US has a culture of mouthy twats in sport so this is how it should be? The difference is these guys were all at the top of their games you muppet, its like a division 4 footballer in the UK mouthing off about premiership players
That is pretty shallow logic seeing as how Idra was once a top pro, only recently slumping (while still now being a top foreigner). I'm not quite sure how you can group Idra and Avilo (who is barely relevent besides causing drama) together as "terrible". That's some logic ya got there.
I just thought it was fuuny a player with <40% tlpd recent w/r calling another terrible, especially a top GM.
Idra has won or placed far higher in multipule tournaments over the years in both SC2 and BW. Avilo has not, though could in the future. Being in a slump is part of being a professional. Every player has them and it does not diminish their previous accomplishments.
He has called nestea and mkp terrible as well.
Unless he has better performance then those two as well?
Besides the ones that are actually good don't need to talk others down.
He called nestea terrible when he WAS terrible, if you can remember the first season of GSL... I'm pretty sure the whole MKP is terrible is kind of a joke now, altho yes he really thought it and was wrong about it.
Sure idra fanboy.
So he got good overnight then, since he won season 2.
Already said it once, but I apparently need to say it again - Idra called Nestea terrible AFTER GSL2.
even better he called fruitdealer good in the same interview
You meant that?
"..he is not as good as you think, but he is not bad.." is not "terrible"
Also, everyone was kinda "terrible" in GSL2. That was the season of BitbyBit Prime, the worker rushing with 4 marines legend in code S. Nestea proved he was amazing over a longer period of time, but at that point it was tough to tell if anyone was good.
Also, he was talking to Artosis. So saying 'NesTea isn't as good as you think' doesn't mean 'NesTea is bad'; it means 'NesTea can't cure cancer, win GSL playing with the muscles in his nose and write a best-selling novel about how fucking awesome it is to be NesTea all at the same time'.

But if he does write that book Artosis will finally have his holy volume to start the cult of NesTea.

Idra said DRG sucked also. That was before his first GSL match. People were talking about him because he was the first to reach 2k? on KR ladder or something. Huk said he deserved it and was really good but Idra said he was just really cheesy and did retarded things.

Which could easily have been true. Lots of players have started as massive cheesers before evolving into well-rounded macro monsters. Huk, Naniwa and Rain all come to mind here. MKP to an extent as well.

Being "well-rounded" means you are not merely a macro monster.
Honestly, Idra's assessment of players has always been clouded by his nonsensically myopic view of what "good play" is.
We've all seen Idra's attempts to six pool. He seems to not spend enough time thinking about all-ins and the strengths of "gimmicky" play, so his accusations of "retarded things" are more likely just things he doesn't understand.
Starcraft is a game of incomplete information, and demanding that "proper play" should never hinge on surprise or unconventional tactics is like playing poker and insisting the bluffing is unsportsmanlike.
There are only so many times you can be wrong about something until your opinion should just be summarily dismissed. The fact is that 3 of the players in the Korean TLPD top 10 have been called bad by Idra, two of whom have been alternating MLG wins for the past six months.

Because he is attention seeking drama queen. Just ignore all his whining and he'll go away.

the FGC does not appreciate white knights defending barbaric misandric concepts such as alimony so anyone spouting feminist bs gets flamed to death. we love women though, as pretty much everyone on SRK is married or in a relationship or has been in one. ZZZZZZZZZ cry moar.
luckily this is the sc2 community and not FGC. People insulting and constantly badmouthing with racist comments just have no manner. And "being married and love women" has nothing to do with feministic concepts or alimony, that would be ridiculous. Although you didn't phrase your wordings correctly, you give off alot of vibe of those racists that starts off with "I don't hate x, I have many x friends, but..." or "women shouldn't have right to vote, but I don't hate them I love them I'm married to one" etc.

wait, what? Idra said that DRG is a monster and a pretty good player that he knew from the Korean ladder, before DRG even came out big in the scene. I think he said that in a state of the game. And for a long time now he always said that DRG is hands down the best Z player because of his mechanics etc.
I normally love the show, but i did think that avilo was treated with prejudice and effectivly bought on solely to try and discredit and laugh at him. Its not a nice way to treat people no matter who they are or how wrong or anoying you think they are. Reflects very badly on the personalities on the show. Like i said i normally love the show and have listened to every episode and this is the first one ive had a problem with, but it made it seem like you were a bunch of school children bullying avilo.

Cheesing and doing all-ins are not the same as being bad. They are perfectly valid and necessary components of a successful player, just like macro styles are.

The quote says: "Idra said he was just really cheesy." Cheesing and doing all-ins all the same time are the same as being really cheesy.

Yes, but Idra dismisses people who are cheesy out of hand. He clearly thinks they have no skill. Are you seriously going to contest this? Idra is renowned for his dislike of those who cheese or all-in frequently.
Not what I'm contesting. At the time he supposedly said DRG was cheesy, it's very possible that DRG was cheesy. That's a route a lot of good players, both Korean and foreign, have taken.
