Incontrol and Day[9] was occupied, so you get Sheth and TB but of course somebody have to complain! For once just say thanks and be happy! Most people are simply asking a question. I think I saw maybe one or two people actually make a snide comment. No need to be hateful though. Hate brings hate, just break the streak..

There are some people being rude, but most people are just curious. The whole gang is being really silent about it, and everyone is just curious about the future. I'm assuming they can't reveal the obvious Giant Bomb details yet though :p

And to the guy saying I am a PR guy for EG.. you are incredibly hilarious telling me "no sugar coating" when I could say the same thing to you: No sugar coating -> you don't know SHIT. You actually only know what is said publicly and that is usually something to the effect of 1/3rd the truth. For all the tourney / practice results you follow I know 100x more about what goes into those results and practice. For any tidbit of info you have on a player I have a heap of knowledge. So don't presume to state what you know or don't know and just ASSUME you don't have the answers.. it's the safer approach. Telling me I'm a loss to my team as a player is factually incorrect and wrong. If you are somehow creating a scenario where players are only evaluated on their wins or losses (teams don't collect a fucking dime from the winnings of their players and the ones that do only collect a TINY fraction of said winnings which in no way shape or form mitigates the loss from sending them / hotel / food etc) then you are making yourself even less logical in this discussion. Sorry, no fluff, I am a huge asset to my team and one of the best people in all of SC2 in terms of ROI. YEP, tooting my own horn here so I know a lot of insecure nerds are about to get all uppity on me cause I am supposed to pretend I am not good at this thing called SC2 and I am supposed to pretend I actually silently go about my business modestly doing "ok" in regard to SC2 business... OK.. I will go back to ignoring the idiots here but about once a month I need to vent and lash out cause I hear this shit day in and day out. So tired of the haters running their mouth and stating "facts" they actually have 0 backing for. I'm sorry you have to hear all that shit all day so hopefully this can help. I wanted to say that a few months back when you were regularly streaming the EG practice sessions I was very impressed by the level of leadership and knowledge that you exhibited. I really liked you as a personality before that but after watching those streams I think I got to see an insight into why you are a valuable asset to EG and just to what extent that your presence in the house affects your teammates. What I was very impressed by was your ability to breakdown and articulate problems you see in your teammates play and offer criticism and advice in a straightforward and helpful manner. I am not unfamiliar with coaching and working in a competitive practice environment and know how important it is for practice sessions for anything whether it be sports, competitions, or eSports to operate in an efficient and effective manner so that players can make the most of that time. You were really the one who said things like "Ben, I noticed this about your play, so I want to have you play this player on this map so you can work on that," the most. Effective communication and an efficient routine for giving and receiving criticism is soooo important among competitive teams. having someone like yourself, with your extensive RTS backround coupled with an outgoing and outspoken personality with excellent communication skills makes you an ideal person to foster that sort of environment for the players of EG to practice in. Anyway this got long but I just wanted to write something nice since you seemed pretty tilted at all the blind hate thrown your way. Have a very nice day! <3

Maps like Shakuras Plateau, out, and use a small map pool that demands some variety in a player's play.

Other than making promises that they may not be able to fulfill or announcing deals that haven't been made, there isn't a good reason to not reveal ways in which CBSi would benefit SC2. Ultimately my question is what is CBSi getting out of MLG from all of this, what are we losing or paying in order to gain their services and support.

They get a cut and MLG and Twitch get better rate per impression and fill rates. I don't think anything fishy is happening. More likely there is just stuff that isn't 100% finalized, so you don't want to announce it unless it is 100% going to happen.

I had 0 strange feelings from the initial announcements, more business involved, the faster the growth (with expected costs). What put me off is the interview. It was like Woody Harrelson all over again, except on video.

They spent way more time talking about who they think will do well at MLG Arena than they did about actual matches that were played at IPL.
