They could at least have previewed the MLG pools last week. ITG managed to do it.
Large gaps are OK, plans falling apart constantly is what's frustrating (even though, yes, the show is free).
If they were still with MLG maybe it would be a higher priority for them? Or if they implemented that subscription thing?
If JP tells me where to pay, I will pay for a weekly, or bi-weekly show. Just tell me where to punch my information in.
I absolutely agree. I'd do the same!
You're a bunch of tools!
I agree with them, id part with a little cashola if it meant actually having a show most weeks. Having it completely free is lovely and everything but it also means they understandably feel very little obligation towards making sure the show happens consistently.

It's been confirmed on losers bracket podcast today that Mr. John Nelson himself will be the guest on the next SOTG to debate the rule he created... "Extended series". This is gonna be good.
No update since the 15th of March. Not a word from JP. I've always supported SOTG and the cast but seriously get the show going. It is completely pointless to start each episode with what JP calls "house cleaning" where he says they promise to do better and be more consistent. Reason it being pointless is that you just make the fans of the show more frustrated when you basically give out empty promises. And yes, I know they don't get money for doing the show, and yes, I know it takes time, and yes, I know its tough scheduling. But still, I don't think anyone working as a pro gamer or caster has a full 40-60 hour work week (my thought, got no facts to back it up) so it feels more like the reason the show isn't consistent is because of laziness. Surely it cant be that difficult finding a solid one hour or one hour and a half per week / every second week to do a show.

They just need to get rid of that shit. Even if extended series created the most fair conditions for a tournament (infinitely debatable) it's not worth the trouble.
Doesn't MLG want to lure in new viewers? I assume that's why Tasteless explains hotkeys and build orders or tries to mix it in at the beginning of some casts. Try explaining why someone starts the finals down 2-1 or 2-0 to a noob.

Interesting... Hopefully the show doesn't change too much, I like it!

Are there any confirmed details regarding date/time and attendees?

It's on PAX east's website in the schedule for sunday and lists attendees.
I heard John Nelson is set to be on SOTG at some point. Can you ask him to release a version of the brackets in advance which shows how people are placed into the lower brackets? ie. where each position from each group exactly falls into the championship bracket and where each open bracket loser falls to? This would be extremely useful for bracket prediction and add to the hype of the events but at the moment is totally impossible since it is really difficult to work out how people are dropped down from previous event brackets.
