and by debate, you mean the only person in existence who thinks its good, with no logical foundation except "it worked in halo" refusing to listen to the logic of 5 other people? :D

As long as there are shows of similar fashion available for free I will not pay. JP just needs to consult with djWHEAT and find out how he got sponsors for onemoregame.tv JP! Stop teasing us with announcements of announcements! Just do the show!

simply put no, they dont pay enough attention to whats going on some weeks, JP can go through 3-4 tournaments and people will say oh, i didn't watch it, then move on. if this was to change and people watched tournaments and had stuff to discuss in more detail then sure i'd pay

Even though all the people that do SOTG and ITG are all friends and co-workers they have to realise that their shows are actually in competition with eachother, as well as other eSports talk shows (for other games).
I always look forward to SOTG so for it to have such a lack of organisation and consistancy means that I would not pay monthly for it at the moment. Also the fact that ITG is an easy replacement for SOTG, especially if JP starts to charge.
I would however pay if there was a better support system for SOTG, maybe through website, calender, more regular updates on content/pro's and ofc if they did one a week. I would probably be willing to pay £5 a month for that. In the mean time ITG is more than a good enough substitute.
tl;dr: SOTG needs to up their performance if they want to charge, if not they they need to get their act together or loose support to other talk shows.

speaking of competition btw sotg and itg, is itg back available as an audio podcast yet? coz frankly ease of access is the decider for me

I have to agree - I really dislike EG, but if the choice is between an unreliable, irregular source of sc2 entertainment and one which is worse but frequent and commited I think I know which I will choose.
Its not the time between shows for SOTG that annoys me, its the lack of information about when the next will be.

Hope there will be some consistency on when the show airs soon! Im not a big fan of these "Event SotG", each of them just feels like adverticement.

You make a public show so yeah people are going to tell it when something bothers them and some people do it in an inapropriate manner. It's just how it works and I think you know that as well as I do.

we do a public show for free... the shit we as hosts get on a regular basis from people in this thread does not somehow get justified by it "being public."
You want to pay us money? Do it, then you get to bitch when we do stuff you don't like. Up until then you can absolutely bitch and moan but it's a free service so you just look like an ass.

When dirty cash isnt present, attitudes change, there's a lot of evidence of this, specially in the sc2 commmunity.

They should get criticism, if the feedback is productive and contribute to atleast something, not just pointless rage and flamming. In the end it's a free community show, only meant to be enjoyed, not something to get mad about
