I don't want to go into this any further, but you think people actually get away with that shit? A golfer throwing a golf club into the water would get severe punishment. A player who shit talks a ref anywhere that can be recorded gets fined and suspended. Bad sportsmanship can be flagged in football. Shit like this happens in sports and it gets the same reaction that naniwa got. All is fair.


Did I say shit talk a ref? On the rare occasion, yes coaches/players are fined, but still many coaches get away with the swearing (I see it all the time). Pro Golfers do get away with cussing on the golf course (throwing a club doesn't necessarily get punished: "Displays of frustration are one thing, but outbursts of temper are quite another. Yelling, screaming, throwing clubs or otherwise making a fool of yourself are unacceptable and, in some cases, dangerous to yourself and others").

In other words, yes in many cases they do get away with it and it happens in every sport. The ramifications aren't always the same either. It varies from sport to sport base on the rules and type of game.

No written rule does not mean he should do it. Not doing something that is inappropriate even though you are allowed to do is a quality of an adult, which sadly Naniwa is still quite lacking. He did something that would bring criticisms to him, he has to live with it.

Long story short instead of seeing a shitty ladder match we got to see a minute and a half of fail, and it saved me 5 to 7 minutes of my day. I honestly don't care because the match meant nothing. It's not like we rage at players for not showing up for their consolation matches at MLG. This was basically the same thing. If it were MLG the match probably wouldn't have even been broadcast.
