Pfft, the booze in Texas is weak.

Received a text from Nazgul: "Going for food now, then on to a show with djwheat".
Sounds like they are planning on doing it. Will it be live?

First reference: In State of the Game episode 18 from last week, at 48 minutes JP specifically references GSL by name when he says "before we jump into GSL though [let's talk about Jungle Basin and Shakuras]." Then at 53:40 he says "moving right along to the GSL from yesterday" as he starts talking about BoxeR vs. Nada. He doesn't say "moving along to events in Korea." I'm not going to bother looking further at older episodes, but I'm certain that they've repeatedly talked about the GSL by name specifically on SotG. Either Carmac has no idea what he's talking about and is spreading unfounded rumors, or he's referencing the MLG Dallas stream only (not state of the game). Wait what, you didn't read or something. He is obviously joking about the MLG broadcast where they only referred to GSL as tournament "over in Korea".
Lighten up man!

Yeah, I'm sorry, was just a little hot headed after watching the BNet 2.0 fiasco during the MLG finals and after reading all the conspiracy theories everyone was spreading.

They mentioned it once; one of the times when they were introducing Idra where they said he took first in the last MLG and got to the round of 16 in the GSL.

Golfclap, is the clapping you hear in golfing tournaments. Generally people clap because of courtesy, and tradition, so it lacks any real feeling of excitement.

Basically, it's not seen as earnest as a normal clap. I think f0rk just wants to help you out in expressing support for Team Liquid.
EDIT: Badly written.

I copied that from urban dictionary. Unless you were intending to be sarcastic with your congratulations, your use of golfclap was wrong.

Really I was referring to this emote: - and I know f0rk was only trying to help, I just thought it was cute that writing :golfclap: garnered so much attention as opposed to the actual post lol

I think people are just trying to help you out because obviously you dont know the context golfclap is used for. It's meant to be sarcastic as that pic suggests

I PRAY TO GOD that I don't have to hear Incontrol bitching about the ineptitude of Blizzard for more than 5 minutes. I understand that Incontrol doesn't agree with virtually any of Blizzard's decisions as far as balancing and Bnet 2.0 but if he's doing it for comedic effect it stopped being funny after the first 2 times. His bitching isn't insightful or entertaining....
