They have a whole section of almost every SotG where they discuss all the latest GSL games . . . First reference: In State of the Game episode 18 from last week, at 48 minutes JP specifically references GSL by name when he says "before we jump into GSL though [let's talk about Jungle Basin and Shakuras]."
Then at 53:40 he says "moving right along to the GSL from yesterday" as he starts talking about BoxeR vs. Nada. He doesn't say "moving along to events in Korea." I'm not going to bother looking further at older episodes, but I'm certain that they've repeatedly talked about the GSL by name specifically on SotG.
Either Carmac has no idea what he's talking about and is spreading unfounded rumors, or he's referencing the MLG Dallas stream only (not state of the game).

Carmac's twitter also seems to make the broad assertion that JP isn't allowed to say "GSL" anywhere, rather than qualifying it to just MLG Dallas.
Maybe I just misread that, and if so, my apologies.
That being said, I could have sworn some of the player interviews JP did referenced GSL, but maybe they didn't. *Shrug*

I really really really hope incontrol will be part of this SotG. Would also like to hear from nony, idra, tlo, or jinro, etc. if possible.
|
I bet they will cancel the live SotG tonight, they are really behind schedule.
|
they noticeably referred to the EG MSI Master's Cup only as "an online tournament". Not mentioning other tournaments by name is a really weird restriction.
|
Slasher, JP, djwheat, anyone! plz confirm you guys are still doing sotg tonight =////

I think you guys need to see a sotg as a bonus rather than an expectation given how much later things went on and how that eats into whatever time they allotted free, while it would be great im not expecting a cast.
|
yeah think this might be cancelled, people have made travel arrangements and 2 hours of delay might have to get this show axed.
|
If Texas wasn't so full of booze and hot women (deadly combo) I'd be more optimistic about the chances of this happening tonight.
|
if theres no SotG tonight I'll just have to cry myself to sleep then....:'(

Stop thinking bad thoughts! It won't be cancelled!!
