It would have been better if they gave the actual amount of prize pool for 2012.

That's understandable and all but don't keep me waiting for a "state of the game" that's 15 minutes long and doesn't talk about the state of the game. It was a cool recap of the days games and all but it wasn't a SotG so they shouldn't call it one. At the very least they could have started 10 minutes earlier when they were all sitting on stage looking at day9's cell phone while terrible music played. Not blaming the "pillars" for this btw, just sayin it's lame that MLG would call that "state of the game"

With cross server lag and awkward times for non Americans, NASL was kind of delegitimatized. yeah but i feel it wont be too hard to make it better than NASL. well not necessarily better but more attractive i guess. for the koreans at least they had to wake up at shitty hours for 9 weeks and for hundreds of players only 16 people get to the finals (basically the reward for playing 9 weeks besides the exposure). as long as there is incentive every week to keep playing, i feel like koreans would be more than willing to play online as they'll likely be in front of a computer anyways. The prize pool for NASL finals was huge but I feel like a tournament doesnt need to have a huge prize pool to be prestigous. in an ideal world the players would be taken care of at least decently so that winning a tournament would be big in terms of reputation instead of actually for the huge prize pool (players ideally shouldnt need the winnings to sustain them). hopefully MLG takes that into account when planning their stuff.
