top players doesn't always make for a good guest on a talk show.
Hope to see Geoff or Gretorp back as a guests, always interesting to listen to. Would also love to see more TL people like HotBid and Kennigit on, I mean someone has to represent the purest form of ESPORTS.
Gretorp? You serious man? When he was on it was so embarrassing I had to mute every time he tried to say something. By far the worst guess they've ever had. Ok maybe second to that chick in inc's last show but still.

Artosis and Day9 add alot to the other matchups, as they both cast them alot. While I get what your saying there is more protoss on the show, I still think think ( at least this episode) they gaev some good insight into the other matchups as well
None of it is first hand knowledge though - at least not in terms of being professional players participating in tournaments. It comes off as something almost verging on theorycrafting a lot of the time, when I hear Artosis and Day9 talk about this stuff.
I promise Artosis understands the game better than most pros, probably even Naniwa. Day9 is very insightful too, but not on the level that Artosis is.

I agree, every single one of the pillars knows an absolute ton about the game. Day9, of course with his dailies has a great understanding of the game and translating it to us lower players. Artosis understanding is more for the intense viewers. When watching the gsl, he can translate how a little part of a build early on will affect the game later. Tyler's understanding of the game should not be forgotten either. He may not translate it to wins, but when listening to him, its clear his knowledge of the game is one of the best.
I'm a bit surprised they didn't cover mlg columbus at all though. They didn't even mention it really. I know it was a month ago, but they're were some really interesting story lines that I felt would have been worth covering. Oh well good show guys.
It'd be good if they had a Terran host/guest, as it's always 100% protoss/zergs...it's nice to have a well rounded perspective on the show, and a 100% T player should be found!

Ahhh mah gah Artosis is a pillar I was foolishly hoping at first that both Naniwa and Artosis would be a pillar Bit too much to wish for but still Artosis is awesome. Maybe we could get Tasteless on the show sometime?

Haters gonna hate I suppose >_<
Apart from that, I really liked this episode of SOTG. Artosis as a pillar is awesome since he knows better than anyone on SOTG what's going on in the Korean starcraft 2 scene.

I am sure they were unaware of it.
Source for this?
I guess it's obvious considering the date and location.
You are actually both wrong. Jimi supported the war (he was a paratrooper with an honorable discharge before the war in Vietnam happened.)
The song in the opening is not the star spangled banner as preformed by Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock anyway (one of Jimi's worst performances ever as he had just broken up with The Jimi Hendrix Experience and had not yet formed The Band of Gypsy's.
Jimi never said if there was any meaning behind the rendition it can be interpreted as many different things, including support for the men fighting over there in the context of "what would a soldier in Vietnam hear in the Star Spangled Banner during a battle." Smiler to Jimi's "Machine gun" song.
ANNNYYYYWWWAAAAYYY: I thought the episode was good and I do not think there will be any MLG basis or any crap like that, so as long as the guest list keeps some of the old favs around I will still watch.

Artosis played T in BW *troll face*
Artosis played T, everyone knows that. However, even I was disappointed in responses when JP asked "So what [would/should] a Terran do in [that] situation?"
When was the last time Artosis played Terran? Builds and strats change with new maps/patches. Frankly, in all fairness, I think they should invite a knowledgeable/skilled Terran to sit in.
