APM alert still doesnt work after updating to 3.32 :/
I just played a few games, and APM alert worked for me in all games.

My post is on the previous page. I don't know what could be the problem, I've never experienced that. I suggest try setting the default theme (Nimbus), and try a new, fresh download (with the default settings). Also check if there are any errors in the log. I am using windows classic theme, and my windows DPI setting is 25% above default. When I switch to nimbus, the windows do open full size. Both windows and windows classic, as well as office XP, office 2003, and visual basic 2005 do not load the window size properly for me. I do not like the themes where window size works though, so I would really appreciate this bug to be fixed. The problem is that you can provide any error logs, and I can't reproduce this error...

I don't know if my DPI is an issue or not, but it might be. Some time I might test it, but it's a hassle because it requires restart. I'm on windows 7 x64, using "windows classic" theme for windows theme. DPI is set to 125%, and the themes it doesn't work on I already listed (Win classic, Win, MSO XP,MSO 2k3,VS 2k5).

Sc2gears operates on replays. Replays store the train/build actions but not the deaths and destructions. Sc2gears cannot tell if a Stargate was destroyed before units were trained from it.

The template I'm using is: /T - /W1 - /q./e I also seem to have found another inconsistency between auto-saving and renaming replays, specifically with how duplicate filenames are handled. Auto-saved replays with the same filename get an incrementing number in parentheses (1) appended to them, while renamed replays that share a name are simply not renamed. With the template I'm currently using, these two issues get compounded when trying to rename a set of replays with the same players to resolve the U/W/L in the filenames, though somebody using /T /W would experience this problem much more frequently. Also, I love the continued work you're doing, keep it up.

About the unique name generator: In case of replay auto-save it is not acceptable to not save a replay just because there is one with the same name, you would lose replays. So Sc2gears will generate a unique name so the replay can be saved and not be lost. In case of manual renaming it is acceptable not to rename a replay, it will not be lost. This behavior can be changed though, but I chose it to work this way.

For example /W1 inserts the win/loss result of the first player. Example: 1v1 game: Joe vs John, Joe wins. The template "/W1" will result in "W", the template "/W2" will result in "L".

I'd really like access to loading the last several (like 10) replays easily from a list or something. Such a feature could be called "recent replays", and the thing that's called "recent replays" right now should be renamed to "recently opened" (or it could be removed for all I care, since I don't find much of a use for it, personally) Maybe to be even more clear would be naming them "recently opened", and "recently played". And regarding the problem I had with all the windows opening small, DPI does not affect it, as I tested on 100% DPI and it still wasn't maximized. Also, to clairify, most of the time it's a small window, but if I open the replay, maximize it, then close it and open it again (without restarting sc2gears) it will stay maximized, but that's the only case.

Recently played replays is already inlcuded: there is a fixed replay source called "SC2 auto reps". It is the folder where SC2 auto-saves the replays, which contains about the 20 last replays. The window maximizing bug: I could reproduce it, I will look into it how I could fix it.

Because I tend to need those, but not the ones I'm winning, thus there are too many replays etc. ![]() Thanks for your time, and I appreciate your work! StiX

StiX It is not possible currently, but you can filter the replays to list only those where you lost. There is a player result filter on the filters tab.
