Drag scroll or Mouse scroll

Hey team liquid community. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to make it a habit to do drag scroll (holding down the middle mouse) instead of mouse scroll (moving the mouse to the sides of the screen). I have always used mouse scroll but it seems more logical to use drag scroll because then the mouse remains in the same spot when you scroll thus resulting in less mouse movement.

What do you guys think just stick with mouse scroll or switch it up?

Middle mouse scroll is horrible its a super bad version of cnc's speedscroll i would just stick with moving the mouse to the side of screen.

I thinks its just personal preference, i wouldn't bother to relearn to scroll, plus with high sensitivity pushing the mouse the edge of the screen doesn't matter so much

moving the finger off the left click seems like much more of hassle than mouse scrolling... Unless you can learn to use the mouse with 3 fingers, 1 on scroll... which would be legit.

Scrolling far away forces you to drag scroll bajillion of times. Mouse scroll is easier in all situations.

I always drag scroll, i can go from my natural to my main in a really fast movement and the pointer is in the middle of the screen ready to go. I used to mousescroll but drag scroll is just faster once you get used to it.

idk how people manage to click the middle button anyway, theres a scroll on that button, and pressing it is a pain

i replaced the mouse button 3 on my mouse, its now on a button on the side, and i can easly reach it with my thumb. so i dont have to move a finger away from left or right click.

i like drag scroll much more than mouse scroll

I don't know why you would use drag scroll, mouse scroll should only be used for small screen movements during micro and such, and taking your fingers off of the mouse buttons during this time is a big no-no. Any kind of large screen moves should be accomplished with hotkeys and minimap clicking.

i barely sroll at all. and if i do it it's just really small distances so whatever movement of finger would be too much.

imo f5, f6, f7 + teams > any scroll
