Good afternoon Team Liquid!
I'm posting to let you, the community know about a brand new show that actually started last night, called BigTV, hosted by none other then BigT and his co-caster Bongmicro. Starting last night, at 8 PM EST, they have begun what we hope will be a HUGE show in the SC2 community bringing sound shoutcasting and opinions to the scene as well as tips, tricks and anything else SC2!
Every Sunday and Wednesday (for now), BigT and Bongmicro will be doing BigTV from approximately 8PM Eastern to roughly 10 PM., They've been kind enough to give me my own segment in the show, called Fallen in Love! The show will run for anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, and it will be based solely on what the audience would like. The show will run during any slot in the 2 hour time frame, so tune in to the whole BigTV cast to see Fallen in Love! Last night we had a decent showing, the stream tipped roughly 70 max viewers at one point, which I think was great for the first show!
The plan for last night was to start off by having a showmatch between Lzgamer and Louder, but Louder couldn't show up! Lzgamer was kind enough to accept a best of 5 vs a random player, as Lzgamer took the series convincingly 3-0. My props go out to Lzgamer for being kind enough to play for us, because he surely didn't have to!
As I said earlier, my portion of the show will be entirely for the audience. I'm hoping to use this thread as a place where the community can let me know what to do for my segment of the show! We can do anything from Q&A for an hour, Replay analysis, mini king of the hill, or anything else the community might have that they'd like to see (I'm not even counting out watching me juggle for an hour).

Everyone make sure to come watch it though. Just a heads up for Wednesday's show, we will be doing a Gold and Below showmatch and an Up and Coming showmatch. That way we can try to help some new players get good as well as give some people the chance to get known! Because that's my main goal. Sure it's fun to watch well known top gamers, but its so hard to get known in sc so I'm gonna try to help some people out. Also I want to be able to help new players become good at this game if they so desire, so I think having a Gold and Below showmatch where we shoutcast the game, and then give feedback afterwards will be a big help!
I will make a thread soon about how to get featured in either of those showmatches on Wednesday! Keep checking back!

I'm very grateful for the opportunity these guys are giving to the community to get their replays analyzed by top platinum level players, I encourage the low level players who want to become better players to play some games and give these guy your replays. Also like the very tempting mini KOTH for low level players even high level players, definitely should join these as they seem like fun and might turn out to be very educational.

I am typically a zerg player, but BigT you have been inspired by your Protoss stuff. Will you ever make some videos or streams on basic Protoss builds/strategies? I don't really know where to find builds for them to help me get a leg up while learning the race.

Here are some questions:
1. With the decrease in stim research and marine health research cost, do you think that raven/marine/tank with a splash of ghost, viking, marauder or banshee (situation dependent) will become standard play ala bio in brood war?
2. With map publishing, do you think that a return to expansion heavy play (again, ala brood war) will return to protoss play as opposed to the current tendancy for such heavy one base play? If so or if not, does that make you happy?
3. Also related to map publishing, carriers in brood war were often dependent on map geography. Do you think that good user created maps will help some of the higher tier units that right now do not do very well (carriers, ultralisks, battlecruisers, etc.). Also related to maps, do you think SC2 is balanced enough that maps will have an effect on balance like they do in brood war?

Well, here are some ideas, not the best but hopefully I get that beta key.
For one, how about a simulation segment for example. Like, a few people could ask what the best unit composition would beat so and so unit composition.
And my second idea would be like a trivia segment. This way, the casters will be even more interactive with the audience, and it would be pretty cool. Like ask users questions about what just happened in a replay of a game to ensure that they are actually listening.

I think it would be entertaining if you got good players to try out ridiculous theory-crafted strategies (preferably extremely difficult sounding).
