Blizzard's DRM agenda sucks. Every time this happens, they'll alienate their customers, every last one of whom wants to be able to use obvious offline features of the game whenever the servers are down. This will especially be the case once we've all paid money for this game. They're great game developers, but the lack of LAN and offline play is cruel and unsympathetic. No amount of game-designing genius will make this feel any different than that, and the gamers, the real heart and soul of StarCraft II, don't care how much business sense it makes (as they shouldn't). I wish they'd take a page from Valve's book and work on being both a AAA developer AND a great community supporter. It seems Blizzard's only goal really is money. cheers | ||
