No realistic counter for early game air, nerf the roach until fucking hell what's the point a barely armored unit that hits hard but still takes the + to armored damage? Hell a fucking zergling (even though it's DPS is total shit right now) is as good if not better than a roach if you plop down for the + carapace....
ROACHES CAN'T EVEN FUCKING COUNTER ZERGLINGS.....
arguably the weakest unit in the game and roaches can't even counter zerglings, not to mention both races have not one but TWO counters to the roach....fuck just take the bitch out of the fucking game increase ling damage and leave hydra at fucking T2
Hell while we are at it, three races is OP remove two buff the third and we'll have a fair and balanced game then...
I hope that by "broken" you don't mean that they're underpowered, because Zerg is really really strong.

The new Terran scan animation is god awful.. It's incredibly obstructive to the person being scanned.

Again people screamed "ZERG IS OP NERF THEM" not really even having any specifics, so blizzard did, and nerfed the queen's movement speed to the point that if Zerg FE'd AND build 2 queens to defend against the MAYBE POSSIBLE AIR RUSH they couldn't guard their natural with 300 mins worth of units that die REALLY FUCKING FAST to 100 mins worth of units.
Yeah this game is over for the zerg, Every work around a zerg comes up with is nerfed into oblivion, so fuck it, it's over for the zerg player. GG Toss and Terran, but ESP the Terran, you won. Zerg is out of the running. Never mind that it took A FUCKING DECADE FOR ONE ZERG PLAYER TO DOMINATE BW. Never mind that he has to play a PERFECT GAME AGAINST TERRAN. Jaedong was the messiah for the zerg, now our era is over. He was too good, and blizzard had to nerf the entire goddamn race to prevent him from winning ever again.
GG I'm done with SC2, it's over I refuse to play terran and thus this game is no fun for me.
lol. Is Blizzard, Blizzard Entertainment, creator of some of the greatest games of all time, going to release the sequel to its (in many's opinion) best RTS game ever WITHOUT it being balanced? No mi amigo, they're not going to make that mistake. Gambles occur all the time in both SC1 and SC2. Rushing vulture drop against a protoss, think of the cost for that: 150/100 starport, 50/50 control tower, 100/100 dropship, 300 min for vultures... and if protoss gets a glimpse of it and stops it, all of those resources went to nothing.
If you're worried about getting air rushed, scout better. Sac an overlord if you have to (definitely get overlord speed). Just because Terran was nearly forced to make turrets in every TvZ in Brood War doesn't mean that Starcraft II will play out the same way. Maybe it's the Zerg's turn to protect itself from the skies via static defense.
The game isn't over. It's far from it. Remember this is beta. Remember every move Blizzard makes is for a reason. Will they mess up with a patch? I'd say they have and they still will. But don't lose faith because units are losing some of their edge. As long as the fix it in the end, which they will, Starcraft II will be a great game.

I didn't get to load the patch yet and it says that the servers will be down at 7 PM CET.
I surely hope they fix all this crap they produced in the US version of the patch until then.

I just lost an SCV to a probe because....
Apparently you can no longer stop an SCV from working by hitting "escape" or right-clicking off. You can only do it by hitting "T" for halT.
It was really fun watching my SCV die to a probe.

other than the fact that u need to win ladders to get better portraits
at the very bottom, there are 2 new portraits, the spectre, and the merc marine
they look pretty damn cool im assuming they'll show up in the campaign
just really neat to see it there

Like I posted in the other thread:
I hate the whole cancel egg going back to larva thing. Zerg is already the most flexible race, they have full production facility for EVERYTHING, they should at least lose larva as the cost of a bad building decision. BW had this feature for 10 years, there is no problem.
Now they are even more flexible. T and P has a harder time tricking the already flexible zerg to build the wrong units. In broodwar, lets say you FE into fake zealot rush so zerg goes mutas, but you secretly building 2 stargate sairs. This is a good move, you gain advantage and control by having sairs against zerg's first muta force. Toss would have advantage but it's not a game ender... since Z, even after been tricked, can switch quickly back to hydra/lurker thanks to its flexibility.
But with this whole larva thing, z is now super flexible..can make last sec changes and suffer little cost. Lets say toss hides robo and colosis carefully, zerg builds roaches and hydras, an overlord sees the robo last sec, now z can easily cancel all eggs and bam 8 mutas comes out instead. Zerg pays almost no price for the bad choice of making roaches and hydras first. It just feels.. dirty and wrong.
Worse yet think of the role on rushes, now zerg can always cheese super early ling rush and have a drone scout ahead, if he finds you in the closest spot, or if u doing a macro build that is not prepared for it, zerg will just continue to let the lings finish and rape you. If you are far or is walling up/early gate, zerg can simply cancel lings and make drones instead, at very little loss to its economy... Zerg is now taking almost no risk in doing super cheesy rushes...
oh and of course there is this extra larva problem to deal with . meh.
