excellent patch just for the immortal change. Now we'll see how D+ iccup players do without pure build order immortal wins

they may actually have to start pressing F to abuse forcefields again! Maybe even a blink in there? rofl! Protoss is still as strong as ever, what are some people here smoking.

Hotkey templates have been added.

* In the gameplay options menu select from standard name based hotkeys for right and left-handed players, grid based hotkeys for right, and left-handed players, and classic StarCraft keys.

This doesn't say to me that you can remap any hotkey as some people here are assuming...

I think reapers should be addressed. I think they are roughly balanced right, but it should take longer to get them out. And I say this as terran.

Considering the patch8 timing window for immos was 2 mins, and their build time is now longer, yea i'd say it pretty much eliminated the "problem" of protoss winning with immo push and forcing terran to open with anything but marauders.

So yea, this is basically a return to patch 7.

It is legit, I didn't see forum post at first so hence why I didn't believe it.

These balance changes are mostly retarded though. The only one that really was needed was immortal build time.

They still seem to be ignoring the fact that zerg is an abomination, marauders are still the best unit in the game, and zerg is spam roach and win unless there's marauders on the field.

Hopefully they'll go back to hardcore balance in patch 10. Galaxy and the bnet changes definitely make the patch still worthwhile.

Marauders were barely nerfed 2 patches ago...100/100 50/50 it doesn't really matter, the concussive shells were only really an issue for early game proxy rax cheese vs P (because zealots had absolutely 0 chance to stop it w/ slow).

Terrans will continue to mass marauders because they're fast, long range, high damage, high hp units with stim. They fulfill pretty much every role in the Terran army besides AA. Concussive shells is just a bonus. No saying T is imba, just saying there's almost no reason not to mass marauders as T.

Remember Speed Zealots negate the slow pretty much and also Terran is spending 150/150 on Stim packs.

By the time mutas kill the number of marauders amassed while you were getting those mutas, you have a good chance of being dead already.

i usually make fun of orb for raging over stupid things like psi storm being slightly nerfed, but i have to agree this is rediculous... i mean first off they dont remove desert oasis, the WORST map in rotation, its not even fair in some matchups, and then they buff marauders like this. marauders counter every single protoss ground unit, its so stupid. also they cost less than stalkers to make, and yet they destroy stalkers so easily. plus they have two researchable upgrades that are available right off the bat, while if protoss wants to research blink or charge (something that sort of helps vs marauders, but it certainly isnt a hard counter) its like a tier 2 thing and it costs way more minerals/resources. someone explain how this makes any sense
