apparently they want every game to be tvz or tvt/zvz. I play a protoss like once every 3 days max

Where is the problem with this exactly? It's a first tier unit. Should be balanced around lings, a little stronger perhaps.

Why do people think roaches should be godlike in some way?

i wish they woulda buffed DT's or Archons

and i still feel like Terran needs something to deal with midgame Toss army :/ hmm

P can't complain, Z got nerfed twice as hard. Late game Z was basically destroyed and Muta Harass against T is gone. Why Blizz felt the need to buff T even more?

We just got a faster factory (which means faster startport) to deal with colossi along with our Bioball and midgame multiple ghosts eat up Protoss.


Archon buff sure.

DT's are fine.

Blizzard is really on the ball. I can't think of many changes they haven't been on top of, really. Except for high ground mechanics, which they can always change later without effecting too much of other balance (since map design will balance that stuff).

Blizz, keep it up!

EDIT: except I think Ultras should shrink in size a bit, and DTs and archons should be buffed somehow. Also, I'd rather have an observatory for Toss instead of more expensive observers, because then you can kill the tech building to prevent detection.

Same thing already happened to the stalker. It went from a devious harass unit with blink to the multi-purpose backbone with a blink "gimmick" for later. The Immortal was too good at the purpose as a backbone unit being 4 psi and super powered, and was moved back to robotics ages ago.

To balance SC2, the final product comes closer to looking like a slosh of half-baked new ideas with each patch.

Yah, like more stimmed marauders perhaps!

I like this patch actually, apart from the banshee hp buff (it should see a damage nerf vs light first, perhaps)

I think Blizzard is trying to encourage the possibility of Protoss FE, which is definitely necessary on some maps (metalopolis) against a safe expanding zerg with AA.

Organic carapace is a tier 3 upgrade i dont see how it will change zvz?
if anything it will simplify it because timing push for lair will no longer be a viable strategy.

you guys have no idea how ridiculous TvP lategame was, when all P needed to do is warp in HT's everywhere and destroy every Terran army before it can reach any possible expansion.
i'm still not sure about the roaches, as I definitely don't encounter t3 roaches much at all.

we dont complain about PvX we just complain about the HT nerf

The organic carapace nerf was primarily because of ZvP and specifically vs storms.
The fact that they now made it useless, makes roaches almost fucking trash in ZvZ
..and then I would, ya know, check em'. (Aka SpoR)
