SC1 had grittier effects, but to be honest they can be a little harsh on the ears. I actually prefer the new seige tank sound effect, and most of the sounds more than surpass my expectations coming from SC1. The Zergs need some more attention, however. Hellions look shitty, and don't fire 360 degrees. Vultures were at least hoverbikes. + Show Spoiler + Hoverbikes! | ||

Against anything that's not armored, the Siege Tank does more damage than it used to. Against armored targets it does 10 less in Siege Mode, and same as before in Tank Mode. When larvae turn into eggs theres no smooth transition where the egg takes its shape like in SC1. In SC2 they're larvae, now they're eggs. rofl I thought I didn't see the egg transition because my graphics settings were low. Kind of disappointing that even on higher settings there's no larva->egg animation. | ||

2. the ultralisk attack sound is so wimpy. It sounds like a ninja sword... 3.
