I would like to see an explanation of a mid game strat and how do you aproach it depending on your opponent. I mean, how to take on account and readapt things if there isnt a standard play. For example, i have all my 5 hatch hydra figured out and the transition to the late game and the time to make only drones, but if my opponent does 1 gate gas or 2 gate i tend to improvise a lot and dont know how exactly counter things and the timings. | ||

The main drawback, for me, was just the match itself. Battle Report 2 just isn't that strategically interesting a match, as the overall strategic picture is pretty clear: Zerg takes map control, fails to abuse it and expand, and then gets rolled when Terran moves out. You did a good a job of bringing out the smaller, strategic nuances, but I think the cast would be dramatically more interesting with a better game. Until Beta hits, that would probably be Battle Report 4. So that would be my suggestion for next time you do something similar. Thanks again! | ||

This is something that I always bugged me with in wc3 and again with at blizzcon on sc2. This is a kind of big reason why I dislike 3D in RTS. It is just inherently confusing. Hogil vs Stork Game 1 + Show Spoiler + Hogil goes 5pool>2 Hatch all-in Hydra. I play vs this strategy almost every night on ICCup and doing ok, but I imagine a lot of tosses loses to that strategy from time to time EDIT: Actually game 2 is quite awesome so it would be even more epic if you did the hole series... | ||
