Note: I'm not trying to promote any program in specific and I'm not associated with sc2gears in anyway. I just love the Dailies and don't want to see Funday Monday and Newbie Tuesday go away because of people submitting boring replays.

This would save a ton of time when picking games for Funday Monday and Newbie Tuesday. Note: I'm not trying to promote any program in specific and I'm not associated with sc2gears in anyway. These programs are good for seeing if a game is a rofl stomp or not, and good at knowing if a chat log is entertaining, but it really doesn't allow you to see whether or not a game is very entertaining.

These programs are good for seeing if a game is a rofl stomp or not, and good at knowing if a chat log is entertaining, but it really doesn't allow you to see whether or not a game is very entertaining. While I agree that it's not as good as watching the whole replay, it seems as though his current method is to filter the emails if possible, read the description, and watch as much of the replay as necessary on x8 to see if it's worth featuring. This means all of the information he has to go off of before spending the time to load up and watch the replay is what a person decides to put in their description(which as he said isn't always even related to the game sent in). Being able to throw all of the replays he wants in a list and see even general stats about the game like map, race, apm, and length would give him infinitely more information about the games than he currently has before loading them in sc2. Being able to see everything that happens in the replay just by clicking on it and not having to load the replay and x8 through it would also save an incredible amount of time. The only thing I would really be concerned with would be matching the replays back to the email that was sent to see what kind of description the person sent with it, but this wouldn't be any more complicated than it is now just more exaggerated because of the number of replays that could be browsed at a time.

Not to be a dick, but I urge people to be more critical of their own submission to help both Sean, and in the end, all of us, be more entertained. Game 1 from tonight's daily was a case in point of what to leave in your own replay folder. No shame in that, really, as long as you had fun with it (I know I would've had at least a little fun winning with mass spine crawlers.)
