The problem is there was no tension because you know Day9 only shows games where the people playing Funday Monday win. It would be 100 times better if Day9 occasionally showed a game like that and just when it looked like they might make a comeback they get completely owned.
I think knowing it's a win increases the tension for me. I spent most of that game staring at the screen wondering when they'd get back into the game and they never really did and then they just won. It was bafflingly awesome.
i rly have to say the new funday monday challange is even worse than the last two...
i mean..the first 3 (1 for each race) were pretty exciting and funny (!) but since then it's just the worst day of the week
i rly hope something is going to change there.. i can understand the newby tuesday allthough it's not rly my level but monday..it just hurts to watch...
and i really miss the good old analysis i mean how many standart dailies were there in the last few weeks?...
^whats your opinion of a good funday monday then hotshot?
edit: personally i liked the first few as well as it taught people to play a different style, but these are just as fun to watch which is why i asked =P
yeah exactly...the first 3 funday mondays were absolutely different i think
and yeah the other monday challanges are probably also fun to watch
my point is that i really think the day9 daily was one of the only good sources for great analysis (probably THE only during beta) NOT some funny shoutcasting shit like husky+hd and all the others
the daily yesterday (dimaga) was finally a normal daily again and i just felt like he didn't take it serious at all...it almost felt like it's a bad funday monday
but again thats just my opinion..i watched every single daily from the beginning but i got really disappointed lately because of the direction the show is going

The newbie tuesdays are pretty normal low-level analysis.
I'm sure when he doesn't get caught up in shoutcasting for events taking away thursdays and sundays, he'll do more normal dailies. Keep in mind he also got two pro players on for two weeks in a row, and I doubt he can keep that up. I got the impression that the past 2-3 weeks were kind of crazy for day9.
Once things settle a bit he'll do some more hardcore analysis.

You never know and that game could've easily been lost. So many times I thought "yep, now they're done..no way they get out of that mess" and then the drone escapes with 1 Hp, they trade bases and even mains with their enemy or get almost killed by mutas (why would you build spore crawlers in your base, when your ally has 4 ghosts? Gotta make banelings xD) It was insane..^^
However I hate how they played with us. They've been teasing with vortex nukes throughout the game and then the game just ends, like a girl that gets you all worked up and then says "no I won't do THAT"..not cool.

greets a crying fan
I have to agree on you to a sertain point. The dailys still are great, but as stated, there's not many normal analysis anymore. But I'm still a huge fan Mr. 9, and can't wait to exhange Swedish highfives with you @ Dreamhack...
next weeks funday monday is: 2v2 where u and ur partner have to place same race and cant have the same units on the field at a time.
Ex: you have zealots and phoenixes. your partner has stalkers and collosus. You can switch what u make but u both cant have the same thing at the same time.

This is inaccurate. Exact quote:
"If I make marines and marauders, you cannot make marines and marauders at all. And if all my marines and marauders die, you still can't make marines and marauders."
