They might use real seconds instead of blizzard time, but even then that number is higher than it should be.
ModeratorProtoss all-ins are like a wok. You can throw whatever you want in there and it will turn out alright.

^ Probably has something to do with real seconds instead of Blizzard seconds. But yeah, even then it looks like it might be a little buggy. Wouldn't be the first time Blizzard made something awkward and buggy.....

You might want to report this as a glitch on the BNet forums. Even if it is just using real seconds, that's not the way it should be.

I'm more curious about Supply Efficiency, because it seems that SQ is made invalid unless you view the income tab in the replay.

Perhaps it is max APM? But then again, early-game spamming might raise the APM to be higher than that value.

They probably count every key pressed in real time, not every usefull command in blizzard time

I doubt it's peak APM, either, because I only ever see between 230-250 in the performance tab, but in replays I regularly spike over 300. Dunno what's going on here, really.

I had an average apm of 800 versus a very easy computer. The game lasted for like 40 min, cheacked the replay and had an avareage apm of 80. (Was trying to see if there was anypoint in xp farming)

I think what you're seeing is the sum of your actions for the whole game .

It could be a couple things....in order of most likely...
a. A glitch...
b. New calcuations...
c. Real time...

Its the real APM calculation. Remember sc2 time is 1.38x as fast as real time. So if you have 100 sc2 apm you have 138 real apm.

There was also a patch a while back where apm stopped counting selecting units like spamming 123412341234. It only counted actual actions.

So this apm at the end of game is very useful, its actual apm litterally what u do ingame.
Don't forget to get everyone you know to play HOTS so this game we love called Starcraft will live on. Every little bit helps. ^^

I thought it's actually the max APM you got in that game. Haven't tested the theory yet.

I'm guessing that they still haven't fixed the APM/EAPM mixup and that would explain your numbers.

Check the tab EAPM and compare that number with the score screen.

(Assuming EAPM is still in the game)

Over half of your "apm" is wasted on rotating through building/units and not actually doing anything with them. I wish they would forever hide this so that people stop focusing on it so much and focus on other things that matter much more. Just spamming in the beginning of the game can raise your end game apm by 50.

Yes. This applies to me too. I checked the replay, and my average APM was around 150-170. But the end screen displayed like 495 as my APM. Yes, i hit like 400 - 800 APM in battles. In the game where i got 495 on the screen, i hit like 950 at one point, but i don't see how it is possible that my average is like 500.

And no, its not the real time APM calculation. 150 x 1.38 =/= 495. It must be a bug or something.

I think it might be a bug where they convert blizzard time to normal time twice, 1.38*1.38*inGameAPM.

We'd need some sample data to make sure though. This seems to roughly match what I'm seeing fairly consistently.

There's definitely something wrong. It said I was something like 250APM- (this is after fooling around microing units for an 1hr45 min) Watching the replay at x8, my average game long apm was more like 70.

Even then it would be off by about 40. It is, however, almost exactly double his "current" APM at the end game.

Wait have they fixed blizzard time yet? I know the units build times will get screwed up but it's worth it to get an accurate real time. Maybe they could display both blizz time and normal time...

Bit of a shame it's buggy, but those stats look pretty sexy. Blizz seem to be stepping up with the UI in HoTS

Being faster doesn't make u better? When u say APM i think u mean "useless actions".

Also even rotating thru ur stuff is important. The faster u can do it the faster u can build stuff and less often u'll have hiccups in production etc.

Unless you're saying u think its possible for someone to know perfectly when to build each unit, so that there is always only 1 unit producing at each building, and know exactly when to inject. Even if you stare at the timer, that takes time.

The "Score Summary" tab still contains the data required for the SQ calculation. I'm not a big fan of SQ, but it's still there.



I can't find the data on the "Score Summary" tab for the SQ calculation. I need the "collection rate", which I don't find on the tab. I've even tried to calculate it with Ressources / Minutes, but it is not accurate if I check it on the WoL Client.

Could you please explain which data you take for the SQ calculation?
