Only thing is that PvP will still be one of the most boring matchups, since I don't think there's anything new that's going to shift the general playstyle there. Maybe it's too early to say, maybe I'm just dumb, but PvP is still "meh".

Only beta invitations handed out by third parties (such as F&F or fan sites) are in the form of a key. All invites from Blizzard directly are just added to your account.

I feel like this unit will be something that can maybe save the stagnant zerg meta game of rushing to 3-base snoozefest into smashing giant 200/200 blobs together.

Maybe it's too early to say, maybe I'm just dumb, but PvP is still "meh". Not too sure what will happen tbh but here is my theory (i dont have access to beta though): 1) Warpgate rushes will be much less frequent as they are very weak because no highground warpins are possible and mothershipcore can give you unlimited forcefields or purify or fastest warpgate as you dont have to manage how you spend your chronoboost anymore. 2) dt rushes will become less frequent as stargate has detection and because warpgaterushes are less frequent 3) robo will also become much less viable mainly because of 1) and 2) but also because vs stargate openers its even weaker now (you probably will always lose mothership core while your opponents keep theirs) Because of 1)-3) I think it will be a lot of stargate vs stargate where to me its unclear how and when to transition to what. Blink + obs is probably still a factor especially with the recall possibility which the phoenix player probably tries to defend with fast immortals. Assuming the phoenix player survives it will probably become a normal colossi vs colossi game as we know it with emphasis on immortals from the phoenix player. In the case that blink is played much more frequently then phoenix robo openings may become viable again. edit: maybe some alternative is that the metagame will become much more greedy because mothershipcore and that might encourage warpgaterushes again, who knows^^.

Its automatically added to your list of games and you get an e-mail. Normally the e-mails are late. For instance back when WoL beta came out and I got in, I didn't get the e-mail for 2 days that told me, but I knew by checking my bnet account constantly ![]()

They seem to be just what the doctor ordered. Not only are they a zerg unit that is a game changer in small numbers, they are also a unit that can put on a ton of pressure on a turtling enemy. I feel like this unit will be something that can maybe save the stagnant zerg meta game of rushing to 3-base snoozefest into smashing giant 200/200 blobs together. I noticed yesterday that ZvP actually has a mid game again. They wasn't rushing for Broodlords yay! :D

I just got in by checking my Bnet profile where it said "Heart of the Swarm - Beta", but didn't get any email so far. Well, doesn't matter. ![]()

Mothership core shouldn't be able to move and should only be able to teleport between nexuses for defence, since it was supposed to be a mechanic to defend against early aggression.
