It's close tho, i give you that. i think you are correct but its very very close, and if you kite a bit, the warhound wins With roach speed you can't really kite. But it's close. Warhounds are 24.8% faster than Roaches with 1.75x the range. Please explain to me why you cant kite them? I mean sure, not forever unless the attack animation is really fast, but if the microing player plays his cards properly, he should be able to get at least 3 or 4 shots off before taking a point of damage
Because there's a roach upgrade to give them 3.00 speed making them fasters than warhounds ?

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss HOTS changes, but I really dislike workers auto splitting at the beginning of the game. I mean come on, there isn't anything else to do at the very start besides build a worker.

Locusts got buffed, got 3 range instead of 2, 0.8 attack speed instead of 1.2, but they can't shoot air now, which is the only thing imo that makes them somehow balanced. ;D

Anyone know if the cooldown for spawn locus refresh while unborrow ? Watching Stephano right now I can't really tell, but if that the case that could make some nice leapfroging strat or a retreat option.

Maybe ZvZ will just end up like broodwar mech TvT.
There's little in broodwar from terran that really breaks massed tank lines so it comes down to a positioning war, perhaps HOTS ZvZ will be like this with swarm hosts until someone can get an edge and tech to broods.

I'm 99% sure from watching streams all day that they can refresh there payloads of locusts when there unburrowed.

The locust cooldown is 25 seconds, no matter if Swarm Hosts are burrowed or unburrowed.

Yes, this does seems like a micro heavy unit. The best way to play with them would probably be to deactivate autocast, cast it at the right time, then micro the spawn while repositioning the host. Lots of potential.

What's the difference?
The only difference I remember is that the "HOTS" queen doesn't have the extra arms, which I hate because the arms give the queens a bit of character.
