With that said, your level of Wings of Liberty activity may play a role in your chances of being selected as a beta tester. Damn I knew I should have been playing more. Woot Woot HOTS.
Same, I haven't been playing much as a result of getting into the Planetside 2 Beta, should have played more Starcraft

They want to have every skillregion represented which makes a lot of sense actually. Actually this makes little to no sense to me, you have to balance the game by using the most skilled players, not the players with no rts experience prior to SC2, and then in the low leagues in SC2, how is that going to help balance the game? None what so ever. You balance for lowest levels later on not in the beta IMO.... you got a problem with bads? I'll fail to beat you at any SC2 match you want but I can drink you under the table come at me
Lots of Friends/Family invites go out first probably, and I am sure pros get first dibs, along with the Arcade contest.
Need people of all levels to play.

Would I get an email notification or how do I go about checking if I have access?

Not too sure if that's really something to brag about but ok.
Anyways, I think HotS is going casual like most blizz games. It tells you how many works are mining minerals and vespene. =\

So everyone got their beta key on their email linked to their battle.net account right? You just opt in like you did on starcraft2? Or is there any other way to get it?

Looks like Tempests are kiting units, not a-move units as predicted.

Yeah I .. wow, that's extremely sad that they included that observer feature in the actual game. I mean what the hell. There's nothing I can really say about that other than SC2 is, at this rate, going to be reduced to the jokes we make about it.
