EPT1. Can I use upgrades, like the tech reactor, and already researched units when I do the missions from the mission archives.
2. Will I earn money to buy out all the other upgrades for achievements like "Buy all mercenary units"

2. No, but you don't need all the upgrades in one play through for the achievements. The easiest way to get them is to load up a save with a decent amount of credits and upgrade -> reload save until you have all the achievements | ||

2) You don't earn enough credits to buy absolutely everything in the Armory / Cantina. Your best bet is to go with Dead9's advice; collect a buttload of credits, save, and then buy out everything in a particular category to get the achievement (for instance, buy all the Infantry upgrades). Reload your save, buy everything from a different category, and repeat until you have all the achievements. 3) It depends on what achievements you're going for. You get achievements for beating every mission on Brutal, but you also get achievements for beating 25 missions on Brutal in one file. So, I'd suggest starting from scratch if you're going for the latter achievements, because that way, you can plan out your route and decide what upgrades and research to get, and when. In other words, you'll have a personalized route by starting over, instead of being stuck with what you had with your Hard playthrough, which is most likely not optimal and will make it that much harder. | ||
