I would guess it has to do with finding all the Tauren Outhouse appearances, because each of them has a special trigger that occurs when you find it. Also, have you guys noticed they always appear on the final mission of each section? Zero Hour(top), the last mission in Mar Sara, Maw of the Void, the last mission in Artifacts, and Piercing the Shroud, the last mission in Rebellion, and Ghost of a Chance, the last mission in Covert. Only one i havent found is supposedly in Haven's fall by my guess. Also, it could be that there are more Tauren hidden in Breakout, All-in, and Safe Haven...

Anyone tried to finish campaign on hard without spending single dime on mercs or upgrades? :-P If I were making secret achievement that would be it. Pure play through

This is a somewhat (completely) unrelated question but I did not want to start a new thread about it and also it is about completing achievs.

In the single player section I have done every achievement for the Tosh mission but the meta only shows two completed. Has anyone found a solution to this? (or seen it before)

Not sure if that's it, but I just finished The Utter Darkness on brutal with about 3000 kills and on summary screen there was information 'Kills to the next achievement: 226' or something. Tried it again and again and again but the best result I was able to get was that I still needed 40 kills for that next achievement, whatever it is. Giving up for now, maybe someone better than me can check it out.

@ngt, there are two achievements for getting more than 2500 kills. You get the "Semi-glorious" achievement for 2750 kills on normal difficulty, and "Blaze of glory" for 3250 kills on normal difficulty.

I can't understand why would anyone do achievements on brutal. Its hard enough without trying any achievements which you can do all the way on Hard.

Well I was online, thats how I got it in the first place, its the Covert Ops meta achievement that is not counting them for some reason.

Yeah this is a known issue that's affecting a lot of players. I'm sure you can find the thread by searching, there's also a massive thread about it on the Battle.net SC2 forums.

I don't understand why anyone would not do the achievements on brutal if they could, made the campaign a lot more fun for me trying to get the normal/hard achievements on brutal difficulty.

Had to put it down to hard though to get kill 50 protoss structures on "The Dig" and kill 4 zerg hatches on the third mission. Pushing those bases on brutal was just impossible, they made units faster than you could kill them.
