I finished secret mission and currently only mission I can access is the one on Char. Take notice I did not landed on Char but I was going to play 2 missions (one of them is for that black guy because I choose Nova and second is for that female doctor). I done both of the missions successfully but I don't get them as done neither I got credits for them and etc. Why is that so? What am I missing here? Thanks. | ||

I disagree wholeheartedly with these posters--Side Missiles is the way to go. Even though Plasma Missiles hit much harder, there will be a percentage of the time where you can't attack things because you're dodging. With Side Missiles you get full-screen-coverage which is very valuable on the Zerg and Terran waves, and allows you to DPS all the time even when you're dodging the Carrier rapid fire ability, the Leviathan's tentacles, or Terratron's numerous attacks. It also helps to clean up Interceptors and makes the normal waves super super easy to clear through, so you'll be more likely to get the Gold Achievement sooner. Keeping your drones intact can be rough but if you're farming a bomb off every single unnecessary powerup, you can use a bomb whenever you think you even MIGHT get hit--after first Terratron kill I still had 12 bombs, and floated around that number throughout my completion. With Side Missiles and 2 Drones and mashing spacebar like a fiend, nothing will survive for long. | ||

Perhaps you were disconnected from battle.net at the time. Seems to be the commonly-recurring problem for these "didn't get credit" issues. | ||

I don't think they count towards the 26/26. There are 29 missions and 3 missions where you have a choice between two missions. So you can do the other choice for achievements, but you will not get research or any more progress on the 26/26. You will get progress on the 29/29 though. | ||

Replaying old missions after the fact or playing missions you skipped due to a choice in the campaign, DOES increase your research total and provide money for researches over 25. There's an entire thread on this. | ||

Don't try to push until your MM ball is on page 3 at least. That + Attack Moving should be enough to crack the spine crawlers. (If you're having trouble, just make sure you're not running into a spawning wave of "attackers" as well as the defense.) | ||
