I'm not sure about City's current form, they've got 1 win in the last 5 games in PL. Haaland isn't in such a monstrous form as early season and they'll allow a goal here and there.

we always have our players play their heart out against other teams in the big 6. the main issue is when we play the lower teams and they just don't turn up.

The ending of the AFCON final was the most entertaining 30mins of football I've seen in recent memory, pure drama.

Two sketchy calls for Morocco in injury time, moreso the disallowed goal for Senegal than the subsequent penalty for Morocco. Senegalese coach wanted the players to abandon the match, Mane got them back on after 10mins, on the restart Brahim missed the penalty with a dumbass panenka then started weeping. Pape Gueye scored a thunderbolt at the begging of extra time, and the rest of extra time was ridiculously fast paced, everyone forgot about muscles and cramps and ran like mad men, there were some huge chances for both but it ended 1-0 for Senegal.

I read somewhere that Mane said he is done after the World Cup with the national squad but the manager and fans basically said "we won't allow this. you belong to the country and so you'll play for the country as long as we want"

Have Liverpool finally started to turn the corner? Burnley draw still was a big improvement on how we've performed all season, and Marseille was domination. I think this next string of really tough fixtures (BOU away, NEW home, MCI home) will be the test to see if it's just a good blip or it's sustainable.

No-one knows exactly what he said to the ref but he got immediately redcarded and didn't even look back to check the colour of the card so he obviously said something heinous.
