Musiala out for months, Nico Williams not coming, Woltemade very, very expensive, Müller out, Sane gone. Who is gonna help Kane? And what if Kane gets injured? We might actually get a title race this year

Based purely on what you listed there, they could end up overpaying for Woltemade or some other option. I think Liverpool's Diaz was also rumored to go to Bayern, but I don't know how Liverpool sees their attacking roster after the Jota tragedy.

But yeah they are missing a 10 and a winger because Olise is the only fixed one in the offensive midfield Also Bayern need money too. They have really ruined a lot the last few years. Overconfidence or arrogance can destroy a lot. Bayern will either overpay a lot for Woltemade or Diaz. But regardless: in Germany they are without any title contenders there. - Leverkusen will implode/sell all their best - Stuttgart just couldnt recover losing 3 of their best last summer - Dortmund = LOL - Frankfurt were only dangerous for the title with Marmoush - Leipzig missing a lot of pieces

New manager + half of the squad new. I see them somewhere in the top half of the league. We'll see after the first few games - Stuttgart squad right now with Woltemade they should be top 3. They did play pretty good last season just couldn't cash in a lot of games. Without Woltemade they will have that same problem again. - Dortmund yeah... buy a lottery ticket that is safer than betting on Dortmund - Frankfurt should be top 3 as well. They bought Johnny B from Mainz (Best German goalscorer) and overall decent squad again. - Leipzig dunno. Probably the weakest of the mentioned clubs

Our problem is that Diaz is starting to look to force a move at this point. He wants to be paid more and get his final bag, which we're not willing to offer him. And we're not a club that stands in the way of players. Bayern needs to come out with a big offer though, since we're about to sell Nunez to Napoli, and may try to offload Chiesa at some point too (though honestly I don't mind keeping him and getting him much more rotational minutes this season to see if he can get back to form with a full pre-season). If we sell Diaz, our new front 3 is going to be Gakpo, Wirtz, Salah, with 0 backups (unless you count Frimpong as a RW backup). Else we're going to start playing 4-diamond-2 with Gakpo Salah out wide and 4 midfielders given that we haven't actually sold any yet this season with Elliott still being on the roster.

If we get 70-80 million for him and a similar amount for Nunez, our offense consists of Salah, Gakpo, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Curits Jones and possibly Harvey Elliott, who I hope will stay and get more minutes after the U21 euros. I feel like one more high caliber player such as Isak or Ekitiké/Alvarez, that might actually be enough power with the occasional academy talent slotting in. We're getting at most 55m from Nunez this summer, no team is going to pay him anywhere near 70-80m sadly. His stock has plummeted. Isak and Alvarez are pipedreams that almost surely won't happen. If we get Isak, I'll eat my shoe (jk). Ekitike is just another Nunez situation. Unproven in the prem, a young player coming off a decent season but also has issues finishing. Idk if I want to go down that route again, especially not for the 80-100m asking price. 50-60m I could see us going for.

He'd fit in perfectly to our system.

And Eintrach won't sell Ekitiké for 60mill. They might settle for ~75 or so. Who else is good enough to improve our offense right now? Most potential targets such as Gyokeres, Osimhen, Mbeumo, Cunha are already gone.

So far it's really looking like Pool want 2 players specifically for every position, so selling Diaz would mean they'd want a replacement for him on the left wing (together with gakpo) bradley/frimpong - konate/gomez - vvd/williams? - kerkez/robbo gravy/endo - macca/bajetic salah/chiesa - gakpo/diaz wirtz/elliot - szobo/jones That leaves tsitsipas, calvin ramsay, tyler morton, nunez, ben doak. A CB and a ST would be good additions.

As much as I love what Luis Enrique has done with the team and the club it still feels wrong that PSG will be the new team to beat. Also they have an extremely young squad
