80% to Real Madrid (Perez not happy with Ancelotti right now) 19% to Bayern (Depending how Kompany does, Bayern might enter the race) 1 % Liverpool (not happening)

I guess they’re just prepping for that.

But they do feel a bit at that stage where they just maybe need a bit of a refresh, one of these cutting edge modern coaches with a ‘philosophy’ Perhaps not and Carlo will figure it out, or Real’s strategy of just having loads of really good players does the business again.

Kelleher has been immense for Liverpool all the time Kelleher understandably doesn't want to be backup for Alisson anymore. He can easily be first keeper for a mid table PL team. Alisson is 32 now, so he might have 3-5 more years at the highest level.

Allegedly they couldn't get anyone they actually wanted and he said yes because he's from there

Why they expected him to subsequently come back also He was doing alright, not amazingly but OK. Apparently amongst Roma die hards he’s even more popular than Francesco Totti. Totti’s a bit unworldly talented, obviously beloved but de Rossi is a bit less so and thus more relatable to the average punter

Not a terrible job but considering the money he was given and what he was tasked with actually doing, borderline par if not below par. Alisson is 32 now, so he might have 3-5 more years at the highest level. Kell has been voicing that he wants to be a first choice keeper for a while now. the thing is, Alisson always gets injured for a period of time every season so Kell typically sees a good chunk of EPL and UCL games, on top of also featuring in the cups for the first few rounds. Still, he's way too good to be a 2nd choice keeper and I don't blame him for wanting to leave. Mamar is going to need a couple more years to be ready as the first choice, so I think that because Kell wants to leave, and Mamar is going to be getting some prep in the EPL/UCL before becoming full-time first choice keeper over Ali, we'll keep Ali on for another 3 years before moving on to Mamar. Mamar's biggest weakness is that he isn't great with the ball at his feet, but in terms of raw shot stopping, he's one of the best (as good or even maybe better than Ali). So he probably needs some mentorship from Ali to shift his focus from just pure shot stopping to a more distributive keeper. Only time will tell if he can adapt his game to that.

- got their 2nd win in a competetive game (and their first one is only half a year away after 20 years without ever winning) - got their first away win - has scored 3 goals in a game for the first time - won by 2+ for the first time - won their group and is getting promoted to Nations League C A juggernaut in the making!

Lol. I mean, maybe? But it's mainly due to the Nations League structure, which is definitely growing on me. By having these different divisions, San Marino is finally getting matched with similar giants, Gibraltar and Liechtenstein, rather than the teams that usually just try to run up their goal average in Euro/WC qualifiers. It's mostly irrelevant, of course, but it must still be nice for these countries to have official matches they can win. While for international spectators, the A and B leagues offer generally high quality matchups, and for those nations, "friendlies" with teams around their own level. It's a far more interesting system than I originally expected.

It's a far more interesting system than I originally expected. Yeah I think overall it’s been a success in both adding some interest to windows where friendlies would have traditionally been played, as well as helping some nations develop by giving them more frequent matches where they’re not massively outmatched. Plus the big boys get more frequent big matches, although not too frequent nor big enough to diminish excitement for summer tournaments Plus some of the teams who have earned playoff/qualification spots from this system for the Euros haven’t disgraced themselves either, Georgia spring to mind. The gap between tier B and C nations in Europe isn’t all that huge outside of consistency over a long qualification phase, and indeed teams who are not generally at summer tournaments might raise their game or be fearless from the novelty. So I don’t think even giving the lower tiers some spots has actually made the Euros worse, although I think expanding it to a wonky number of teams maybe has. Hey credit where credit is due, think these were positive changes.

I love Alisson and hes prolly still the best or at least top3 gk in the world but wouldnt it make sense for the future to just invest and trust in Kelleher and let alisson go?
