McTominay ran into Mount, not the other way around. It's not a foul to anyone its play on. Everything else is already moot.
May be outside the bodyline means it literally doesn't matter that his arm is up. The question is whether it could be expected to be there. "Making himself bigger" is ludicrous, he's not blocking a shot.
Watch it again. It's below shoulder height, not head height. Greenwood is extended out toward him, CHO's arm is bent and warding off Greenwood's arm. It's completely accidental contact with the ball.
The rule of the game are don't overturn unless it's a clear and obvious error. Which it isn't. Letter of law followed. Calling the penalty would be controversial. Because it would be the wrong decision.
"below shoulder height". youre so biased its disgusting. no point discussing this with you any further when you straight up distort the facts. not even going to address the other points you made because theyre equally dumb.
Meanwhile the current chinese champion Jiangsu FC has stopped all operations immediately and withdrawn from play, as their sponsor Suning wants to focus on its core business of selling fridges instead of paying for fancy footballers.
How is this relevant for the euro focussed scene? Because Suning also owns Inter and wants to sell it asap as in preferably yesterday. So hey, if someone has some pocket change, just make them an offer!

who said anything about a conspiracy against united? please stop embarrassing yourself. dont understand why its so difficult for you to admit the ref saved you 1 point. im not even saying united deserved to win, just that a legit penalty was disallowed for no good reason. if you cant see that then i genuinely feel sorry for how you view all your football matches. must be a pretty shitty viewing experience if you think in every chelsea game every call went against you because your players are all princesses that never commit fouls.
As I said I don't think it's an outrageous mistake, but I will say that pundits seem to agree that a penalty would have been the right choice. I actually haven't seen a single one who argued against it, and many who argued for. (To what degree you think this is relevant or not is up to you. )
Former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu, his adviser Jaume Masferrer, the club's CEO Oscar Grau and head of legal services Roman Gomez Ponti have been arrested following a raid at the club's offices on Monday, sources have confirmed to ESPN.
A spokesman for the local police also confirmed to ESPN that "arrests are taking place but we cannot give names. We are in the process of carrying out an operation at the moment with agents from the financial crimes unit."
A statement from Barcelona read: "Given the entry of the local police at the club's offices, per a court order relating to the hiring [of a third-party company] and monitoring services of social networks, FC Barcelona has offered its full support to judicial and police authorities and collaborated with them to clarify the facts that are the subject of the investigation.
"The information and documents required by the police were strictly relating to this case.
"FC Barcelona expresses its utmost respect for the judicial proceedings and also the presumption of innocence for the people affected by Monday's events."
Police arrived at Barca's offices to search for evidence in relation to the Barcagate social media scandal and later made the arrests.
It has been one year since it was alleged that Barca, under Bartomeu at the time, paid a third-party company to smear former players, current players and presidential candidates on social media.
Barca strongly denied the allegations and rescinded their contract with I3 Ventures, the company behind the social media accounts.
An external audit by PricewaterhouseCoopers later cleared the Catalan club of any wrongdoing and also found that Barca did not pay an inflated price for a number of services with I3, absolving the club of any corruption on a financial level.
However, police continue to look into the case, having opened their own investigation last year. They first raided the club's Camp Nou offices in June 2020 in search of documents relating to the allegations.
On Monday, club employees were asked to leave the building as police returned again, seeking more evidence to aid their inquiry.
Bartomeu has since resigned, although his resignation was unrelated to the scandal, and the club will elect a new president on Sunday, with voting having started on Monday. Carles Tusquets is filling the role on an interim basis.
"This is the first I have heard, but the first thing to say is the presumption of innocence," Joan Laporta, the favourite to replace Bartomeu in Sunday's election said upon learning the news.
"It's not good or nice news for Barca, given [Bartomeu] was the president of the club. Even if his management wasn't good, he was still the president of Barca and it's not nice news for anyone. It's shocking news, to be honest."
The allegations were first made by a local radio station in February 2020. Evidence was revealed that showed that, as well as defending Bartomeu, I3 was behind a number of Facebook accounts that had attacked people related to the club, including players Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, former captain Xavi Hernandez, ex-manager Pep Guardiola and presidential candidates Victor Font and Agusti Benedito.
Bartomeu and Barca rescinded the contract with I3 immediately and denied all knowledge of the accounts. Bartomeu's adviser Masferrer was later suspended after being held responsible for the club's relationship with I3.
Masferrer later returned to his role working alongside Bartomeu, though, and no further action was taken internally following the publication of the external audit by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
[Alfredo Martínez] Josep María Bartomeu and Jaume Masferrer went to court this morning. They have availed themselves to their right to not testify and will be released with charges. Today the secrecy of the investigations will be lifted and they will know the accusations they face.
i think fatigue is a legitimate issue? especially for teams like liverpool. city have the most stacked bench which could be why their performances havent dropped and theyre just dominating every other team that has
I think they've been through two deep UCL runs, two very consistent PL runs, some terrible match congestions and all that within last three years and now they're playing with lots of injuries on key players and the stadiums have been empty for a year or something. The last season was already pushing it and now the injuries pushed it over the limit.
I hope they scramble over the line with UCL football secured and come back refreshed next season, hopefully with people back on the stadiums and all that.
Haven't seen too many games from them though, it's a bit rough to check out occassional football here since the pubs and such are out of question and the TV packages are kind of pricey on my current situation.
