They still need to fix a lot of positions, even left-wing seems a problem as Griezmann can't do much there.

I don't understand neither why being Alba injured, Firpo is not even called with the team (he was supposed to be Alba sub) and he continues playing Semedo as left wing and Sergi Roberto as right wing. Neither of them are in their natural position.

Former Wales boss Chris Coleman would like to be the first manager of David Beckham’s new MLS franchise Inter Miami, but admits the ex-England captain has been ignoring his efforts to land the job. The final pieces of a puzzle in Florida are being put together ahead of an expansion outfit joining the ranks among America’s elite in 2020. Manchester United and Real Madrid legend Beckham, whose first involvement with soccer in the United States came at the LA Galaxy, has a stadium being constructed and players being targeted. A coach will also be required, with several high-profile figures having already been linked with the post. Coleman, who has previously spent time working at club level with the likes of Fulham and Sunderland, is eager to throw his name into the ring. A man who guided Wales to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 has had little joy so far, though, telling The Sun: “I want to go back abroad. The MLS is definitely an interest but it’s hard to get into because it’s such a growing league. “I’ve left David Beckham a few messages - but he’s just not got back to me!” Coleman has plenty of experience outside of Britain, having taken in stints with Real Sociedad, AEL and Hebei China Fortune. Having spent time in Spain, Greece and Asia, the 49-year-old is ready to spread his wings once more. “There’s only five or six managers in the world that can take a pick and say, ‘I’m going there’. But that’s not me,” Coleman said. Source

How good is Rodrygo gonna be? :p Yeha the goals were pretty good too, Brazilian hype around him and it should be a pretty easy fit into this Real team right now with everyone hating on Bale lol. Also, Frankfurt followed up their 5-1 demolishing of Bayern with a 2-1 defeat to Standard Liege!

Most likely option right now seems to be Flick gets to stay until the end of the season if he manages a solid game against Dortmund (he seems well-liked by the players) and then they go for Ten Hag in Summer. But this could all change by next week. We'll see. Regardless, I don't see Mourinho ending up in Munich.

Valverde's first year was decent, but it's getting worse and worse. Last season was Messi and Ter Stegen carrying the whole team to pretty close from an undeserved treble. Opposing teams might be getting better but that doesn't matter anyway. Barça is the team that pays the highest salaries and their squad should destroy teams like Slavia or Levante as long as they put just a little bit of heart, even without tactical work. The biggest fault is always on the management as they're the ones that can take decisions. However, players are very high on my guilt list. Messi doesn't pass the ball to Griezmann because his buddy Suarez might be benched if the Frenchie starts scoring. That sounds so dumb but I'm pretty sure it's not far from the truth. Or pushing for Neymar in the medias when you know players like Dembélé or Griezmann would take it bad (because that'd mean they'd go on the bench). Piqué is the worst of all, he thinks he's already president. These guys are very toxic for the club, and I think just replacing the coach will not fix the issue. If that coach doesn't get full support from the direction to remove some of those and to dictate how the team should behave, it doesn't matter if it's Pep or Valverde. Just remember that Pep in his last year wanted to let Piqué, Alves, and Fabregas go because they were not investing themselves enough. That's 7 years ago, imagine how much more entitled those guys are/would be now. The current squad CAN win the CL, they have so much talent; but with the current setup it'd be a miracle. Maybe I'm too extreme, but to me a situation like this can only be reversed by having the supporters go through big disappointments. I thought the Liverpool + Valencia losses last season would be enough but it wasn't, so maybe they need to go through one terrible season with 0 trophy and with Madrid winning the league or something. Then players won't be able to hide anymore and you'd finally see some big changes.. That said, I wouldn't mind if they fired Valverde right now to see if I can be a bit more optimistic haha No its not the same thing, I had the same argument when it was Chelsea and Mourinho, at the end of the day a managers job is to win the confidence of his players, it doesnt matter how or who the players are. If he doesnt hes not right for the job. You cant ship half your roster if the players dont buy into what the team in general is doing. Thats the team you have built and it has enough on paper. Use it. Some personale are past it, sure dont disagree there. But It is funny to watch Messi and Suarez basically try to play with each other all the time though. I feel bad for Greizman. But again that is more of a coaching problem. If players arent confident in their options they will go to what they trust. Again the bottom line is that regardless of success the way that team has played from the very start under Valverde has been safe and directionless. That builds up over time and gets you to the staleness you have now. Players should always share the blame when they underperfrom against weaker teams regardless of how bad the coaching is. I am not concerned about drawing with Prague or losing to Levante, teams can play badly or have a bad run, or whatever. Prage has been good in all their games and held their own against everyone consistently and if you look at Levante those were some pretty sick performances and some pretty shoddy individual moments. So yeah these games are a problem. But at the same time, they are not really. What is a problem is that your identity is boring and that shows in how invested or rather uninvested the team is in the process.

I mean he has ~13 years of experience as 2nd manager in world class football. That has to count for something. Also he is a world champion manager. Right now all rumors point to Tuchel or ten Hag at the end of the season

Worst case is probably if Mou goes elsewhere and Flick doesn't manage to deliver good enough results (whatever that may be). At that point it might be an awkward alone-on-the-dancefloor situation for Bayern.

We are 5 points behind top spot with Liverpool vs City this weekend, if we get a miracle and City win which i highly doubt with how much pep has shat the bed this season not buying a defensive defender....then we could be a in spot to challenge!
