I think its fair that sometimes it feels a little off. | ||

for people into the Finland//Sweden rivarly its happening in women's hockey on the 17th. The winner faces team USA. Lots of days off for Canada and the USA in this women's event. | ||

Even the big sporting countries in Asia like China and South Korea don't have much of a history in winter sports, at least compared to the summer ones. Maybe Japan has a little bit more participation in them. | ||

Because you then the game is essentially 9 ends so you (assuming everyone scores with the last stone), you get 5 ends with the last stone and the other team only 4? Anway, in the tornament you linked I count a 48-30 score for team with the last stone in the first end, which still seems to be relevant to me. | ||

Well if you score in the first end you lose the hammer. If your opponent scores you still hold the hammer but you are losing the match. This is why you can not "control" a match with the hammer in end #1. It is pretty unusual to blank, that is have no one score, 2 ends in a row. Listen to how the commentators reacted to the 2 consecutive blank ends between sweden and canada last night. he was pretty damn surprised. | ||
