There are at least a dozen current head coaches I would 100% prefer over him, and at least a dozen I would 100% prefer him over.

Firing Roman was a power play by Ryan too, Roman was never his guy and this shows the front office has given him total control for the foreseeable future. Good luck Buffalo, hope you keep attendance high enough to keep your team.

Good luck Buffalo, hope you keep attendance high enough to keep your team. This was legit the truth for him in Dallas though, not gonna defend any of his other seasons or what I've witnessed in Buffalo. But when he was in Dallas as the coordinator he was literally using second stringers in almost every position thanks to injuries/suspensions But Buffalo fucked up, they fired the wrong guy for sure. It's just sad to see what has happened to Buffalo's defense.

Really hes a defensive expert who can't keep the fuckign jets from dropping 37 points and whose complete inabillty to even control himself leads to his teams coughing up tons of stupid penalty yards. Add in how completely unable he is to put together competent offenses, and hes in the Jeff Fisher how the fuck does he still have a job teir. Can't say Baylor didn't deserve that, but damn thats edgey Rice Marching Band mocks the Baylor rape cover up scandal at half time

But to fire a coach week 2 they need to be doing Rams level bad and they weren't there yet. 24 on the Jets defense with almost 400 yards isn't exactly awful and if Rex wanted different plays called he should have just taken over the responsibility himself.
