So I'm reading that the Browns are going to try to use some of their 11 picks in the next two drafts to grab Jimmy G. They are trying to eat half of Brock's salary by restructuring his contract and trade him as a backup for more picks, get their 4th rounder back.

Pat's are supposedly looking into trading Butler for Cook if they can't extend him. Him and Gilmore on opposite sides is pretty dirty.

Pats have a ton of cap room. They're fully able to resign HT extend Butler (or have him play on the rfa tag) and pick up veteran depth to make up for the lack of a first rounder, and they're normally able to get a few contributors out of udfa's anyways. This isn't as all in as I expected a trade for someone like Cooks to be. (Then again I thought the Saints FO was better than that anyways).
